Die Hose gefällt mir eigentlich gut.Leider ist der Schnitt noch weiter als auf den Bildern zu sehen ist.Mir persönlich wäre etwas enger viel lieber gewesen.

They're nice enough to dress up a bit with a polo or button-down. This past week, I've worn them on hikes, and they're very comfortable up scrambles. The drawstring is a nice feature because it negates the need for a belt. This was great at the water park when I wore the shorts as swim trunks. They never slid down even though I was riding the flumes and everything else. Then yesterday in the mountain creek, I slid down rocks, and the backside still looks good. The zipper pockets kept my cash safe.If I have to nitpick, sometimes the zippers on the pockets take a couple of tugs to move them all the way open or closed.

I like the material and the pockets but the zipper and clasp don't work great. The clasp likes to rotate and thats only an issue when you go to put them on. I think I would have preferred a button but maybe there's a reason they didn't use one. I'm not an engineer lol. Once it's closed it stays closed so it's not a big deal. Also with the material being so light weight the zipper tends to lift the material instead of zipping itself so you need to hold the bottom. Also not a big deal but not something I've not experienced in a pair of shorts before. Otherwise they seem like nice quality shorts. They fit well, not too small which tends to be the case with stuff I order online.

Nice, lightweight shorts. Easy to wash. Not sure the tie cord at the waist adds anything but it’s easy to remove by unpicking a few stitches at the back of the waistband.Easy to wash and dry quickly.

I like these shorts a lot, and these aren't the first item I've gotten from Baleaf. The length is good, fit is good, and they are very comfortable standing, sitting, walking. Haven't done much more yet, but I can imagine these would be good for a hike, on the tennis or basketball court, or rollerblading. The only knock I have on them is they I was expecting 4 front pockets like traditional cargo shorts. There are only 2 regular pockets and one small additional pocket on the right thigh, just behind the seam. There are two back pockets, but I try not to put stuff in my back pockets anymore. I thought the two main front pockets might let stuff fall out so it's good that they zipper shut. That right thigh pocket fits my wallet fine. Description said drawstring closure which it has but it made me think it did not have a zipper fly and button, but it does. Button isn't exactly the right word. It's a slide buckle sort of thing like you see on dress pants. I like them and think I'll get some in other colors.

UPDATE to my original review (below):I ordered a second pair after loving the first black pair. Two very concerning issues regarding potential future orders:1. Both were size medium, however the blue pair is a full 5 inches smaller around the waist! This clearly destroys my confidence on sizing!2. The new shorts were supposed to be navy blue, but they are clearly Royal blue. Not even remotely the same as the photo, and in no way should these be described as "navy blue.3. Under these conditions I can only say, EXTREME BUYER BEWARE. You may not get what you ordered. If you do order, black is the safest color because it's impossible to screw up black. But sizing is a complete random guess.------------------------OriginalI bought Medium and I am 5'8" 180lbs and I normally wear pant size 33-34. The fit is excellent, very slightly loose.These shorts are excellent overall. The material is thin and stretchy and so there's no restriction of movement. The material feels durable and I expect it to hold up well. It packs into a small space and is quick dry. Perfect for motorcycle trips and any travel where light weight is important. They can be used both for sports and for casual wear in the city.Excellent!Areas that could be improved by manufacturer (but not critical):The back pockets should have a flap with velcro, not just velcro.The holes for the waist string could be closer together.The little pocket at the bottom back of the right leg is useless, get rid of it.
