I intend to use this tool to remove the wheel studs on my Tesla Model S. I got a good deal on a brand new carbon ceramic brake kit and the seller threw in new titanium studs. I've never replaced wheel studs before so I looked on You Tube and saw people just hammered the old studs out. I didn't like the idea of hammering them out so I ordered this press kit. Well, the press is very large and there wasn't room to get part of the tool properly behind the hub. Maybe removing the hub would work but that was another thing I didn't know how to do and I didn't want to get myself into a bad situation. Besides I didn't have the tools anyway, so I ended up hammering out the studs. The tool is very robust so I'm sure it would do the job under the right circumstances.

This is an absolute unit. I needed a larger press tool than the harbor freight one for working on my RV suspension, and this one gives me TONS of room to work with. Make sure you lube the threads (common practice with these) to avoid damaging them. So far so good. It does not come with any cups/adapters, but that's ok, odds are if you're buying this, you already have those too.I'm just happy I don't have to run down to the autoparts store to rent one every time I need one. Make sure you bring the part to the press and lock this down in a vice. It weights a LOT so working with it under a vehicle is a nightmare.

Very easy to tighten big enough to press out big joints. High quality metal

We just paid $300 to rent one of these tools. Great price point and super heavy tool. looks like it will work just as well as the one we rented. specialty tool but when you need one, it sure is nice to have it on hand

I ordered this to work on U-joints on my truck. It works well. The casting is nice and stout and well finished.I have not used it on ball joints. So far I am very pleased with it.

Wow, this is the business. I knew it was gonna be a big heavy duty press, but wasn't anticipating a small box that felt like a gold bar inside. I'm thrilled and can't count the number of times I sat there frustrated with a job and wishing I had something like this. The materials and construction are absolutely top notch. Fantastic job by Limontek that I highly recommend.

This large ball joint press is a good addition to my standard ball joint press as this press has a larger press area compared to my standard press. With the larger press length I’m able to handle more difficult jobs that require larger/deeper pressing cups. I put this press through a tough job at pressing out a bushing from my van’s control arm, the bushing was frozen in place and it took a lot of force to press it out. I was concerned about the threads on the press but it survived just fine. I inspected the threads post pressing the bushing and noticed that the black finish on the threads had worn down but the threads didn’t begin to be mashed or mangled yet so that’s a good sign that this press was not some cheap thing that breaks upon a single use. No issues have developed from my usage but I did wish that this press had come with a storage case; this way I can keep it in good shape for future use instead of it being in my toolbox and getting beat up from other tools. All in all this press worked good and it has done its job as expected but I still wished it had its own storage case.

I didn’t realize how big this was compared to regular ball joint press . Ive seen the regular ones snap but that not going to happen with this. The box must weight 20lb , I was completely puzzled what had delivered when I tried picking from front step . I need to do a bunch of UCA and LCA on my GX’s . Both the ball joints and bushings can be a beast especially oem originals with almost 300k miles but I’m confidence this is up to the task. Just look at the size of it compared to an UCA.
