A must have to making pizza. Makes putting the pizza in and getting the pizza out of the oven so much easier. Love that we can cut the pizza on the board. Really large size which is awesome. Nice looking, easy to clean, decent weight, and good value for the money.

Nice size and very well made. My husband likes making his own crust. This paddle allows the dough to come off fairly easy when putting on grill

Nice and ridget. I flower the wood surface. Then roll out the dough right on the surface. Then transfer the dough to a pizza stone in the oven. Thick crust pizza I pre cook it. Then add the topping. Then return it back to the oven.

It is technically 15 inches from the sides. But there is a beveled edge (you can see it in the photos). So it's more like 14 inches flat surface between the beveled areas. If you flip the paddle, the it is entirely flat.

I use the top side with the beveled edge to build and launch the pizza and the bottom side for slicing the pizza. So far it's been excellent. The paddle is weighty and substantial but not overly so. The size accomodates a pizza bigger than the 12 inch norm. I should say that I build my pizza on parchment paper and scoop it up with the peel parchment and all. The pizza and parchment slide easily onto a very hot pizza stone. After 3 to 5 minutes I lift an edge of the pizza with tongs and pull the parchment out leaving the pizza directly on the stone. When it's done, I grab the pizza edge with tongs and slide it onto the back side of the peel. I did mineral oil the entire peel as soon as I got it and the finish and feel of the surfaces are very good. Bamboo holds up to knife cuts well but can dull knives. I have a 14 inch rocker style pizza cutter that may not be as prone to the dulling as kitchen knives. Getting the pizza into the oven and slicing it have been problem free and I only have to store and maintain one item that can do the work of two.
