Seems to work good. In a move of caution, I ordered a double contact when I only needed a single. That way, if it burns the contacts I can switch sides to keep the system running, until I can get a suitable replacement. It's working just fine so far, no noise. This was used to replace one that hadn't failed yet, but was beginning to make a little bit of noise, noticed it while diagnosing a failed capacitor.

My central A/C unit is approaching 10 years old. I had planned on keeping this new contactor as a spare, but while I was making sure it was the correct size, closer inspection of the old contact points, showed major "pitting" and arcing had already occurred.I went ahead a swapped out the old device, and instead of keeping the old one as a spare, I decided to order another new contactor to have as a spare. This contactor may have saved me from having a hot house while a new repair part was being located.

The contractor is one of the most likely causes of loss of AC a repair shop will charge you $150 - $300 to come over and swap it in. You can do it yourself for next to nothing. My contractor locked up in the on position making a big ice cube on my compressor after I defrosted it it was running like new in 5 minutes. I’m keeping a spare in my garage for the next time along with Dual capacitor for the same system another easy to replace part that will beak sooner or later
