It’s sharper blade, easy to use and adjust the thickness you want, easy to clean. The meat was cutting like professional in market or restaurant.

I chose this slicer because the deck that holds the frozen meat was among the most rigid and durable, and I'm glad I did. This thing is an absolute tank. One thing I did that has improved it greatly was to swap out the suction cup feet with rubber ones. The ones I got are called "Reliable Hardware Company RH-1606-8-A Rubber Foot". In addition to that, you will also need screws. The majority that the slicer uses are M6 and M8 panhead machine screws. Be aware that the blade and bearing can corrode, so oiling after cleaning is necessary, though once the bearing starts to corrode it should be possible to replace it with a stainless steel thrust bearing. It's all worth it. Getting meat sliced as thinly as this can slice it at a butcher is almost impossible, so if you love making jerky it's worth the effort. This device can slice frozen beef so thin that you can practically make potato chips out of meat with it.

Thin sliced frozen beef for hotpot can run $10-17 a pound. Buying it at costco for $5 a pound and slicing it myself sounded great, and thus my journey here. First time I used it it was ok, and I did get the slices I wanted, but it wasn't that convenient and washing this thing is annoying (it WILL rust quickly, see below).1) I did prepare each cut of beef so it will fit on the slicer BEFORE I froze the cuts. When it came time to cut, the platform screws are not the most secure, so the meat will slide around sometimes, so you have to keep adjusting your grip. This wasn't that bad, but more work than the sample video that makes it seem super easy2) The bottom suction cups lose suction after a while and the thing will slide around. Can be somewhat annoying combined with balancing the meat in place in part 1 above3) Probably the worst part is that the screws are not stainless steel. The pic I put up and highlighted, this section immediately started to rust after 1 use / 1 washing. So after every use, you must disassemble each screw and baby each piece, or else it'll get rusted out after 2-3 uses and the thing is dead. Look at another reviewer picture where its already rusted badly and ruined. So all in all, I didn't return this, because it does the job I wanted. but take these tips very seriously if you want to buy, and if you do, you must take extra time to care for it, or else it won't last very long

This is very good to slice or shred meat.I used twice so can not know how long the blade lasts well. But I can slice frozen meat from paper thin thickness easily without electricity. The bad point is the metal pieces are just cut and not treated so very sharp every where. You need to be very careful to use, otherwise you will have your skin cut here and there. So I give 4 stars.

Bought as a Christmas present, the suction cups wont stay stuck to any surface the slicer slides with each slice, 2 of the 4 screws knobs that adjust the stabilizer for frozen items won’t stay tight causing the meat to slide, when The meat slide the slice of meat are not the same. The guard bent back on the 3rd uses. Tied to use again today, we have decided with all the issues listed above it is unsafe to use with a sharp blade, to many area slide which can cause a serious cut or injury.

Si se observa las fotos de este producto, cuando se coloca una pieza de alimentos para su corte, hay una especie de cubículo metálico que es que toca los alimentos y protegería la mano de un posible corte, pues esa pieza no esta.

I have arthritis in on-ramp hand so I should have got a electric one.Update….In regards to my first slicer…I found no problems with the actual device it was just my arthritis limits me from doing a lot of stressful tasks. The company has reached out to me to give their slicer another chance. So they sent me another slicer. I have a helper who helps me with housework tasks so I’m reporting her comments as well as my own. First of all…it is VERY important that you have your meat frozen… we used a leftover 2-1/2 lb rib roast and the slices came out perfectly thin and cutting was very easy. I tried it myself and I found it not difficult…I’m just not able to use for very long because of the arthritis. Next we tried a small piece of ham that I bought from Aldi. It also cut very well. I made Shabu Shabu, and Philly steak sandwiches and we both ate like a pack of starved animals. We next tried a brick of cheddar cheese, some veggies (carrots potatoes and celery) and so I made a big pot of vegetable soup in my Insta Pot and it was very easy to use and only took a few minutes of chopping time. Now…. I’ve only had my slicer for a short time but I will update as to how long it will last. After reading some of the other reviews… I get the feeling that it might be because of not paying attention to the instructions. We did not find it difficult to clean…but I anticipated it’s not going to be a walk in the park kind of task. After cleaning i sprayed some oil (very lightly) on the blade just as a precaution after hearing that there was some problems with the blade. We pulled the slicer out a few days later and it looks just fine. Now… my only thing on my wish list…. The panels that hold the product that you want to cut will not stay in place for your entire cut….would be nice if it had a stable v shaped panel to hold your product..but it’s not a deal breaker for me.. I’m just too excited that I can buy meat much cheaper and slice it to my taste. Speaking of…this slicer cuts the slices to MY liking. I’m not picky as it absolutely has to be paper thin (although it looks pretty thin to us).The electric slicer that I bought to replace this slicer…I’ve only used once in the last year. So far I’ve used this slicer 4 times already.
