So this is a nice setup for your pitcher to practice and just keep throwing balls. The one issue that I have with it is if they hit the batter, that ball does not go into the collection part of the net, it falls in front. Otherwise it's nice to have something they can practice against visually without anyone getting hurt.

Got this for my son. The item does the job, though it is a little tall, meaning I had to wrap it over the top of the netting in order for it not to sag on the ground. It attaches fairly easily with the velcro, though I'm not sure what the velcro on the sides are for, as I can't think of a situation where you'd actually attach those to anything. However, it's not a big deal and they don't get in the way. The strike zone grid is okay - a little cheap, but works. I don't know about durability yet, but so far it has held up to several pitching sessions.

I use this pitching training tool with my 9yr old youth baseball team. I have 15 kids that I coach and I am only allowed 1.5 hrs/wk to practice and work with them (league rules). I am able to hang this up and let them work on it with a parent supervising them, I just can't be there coaching. This is a good tool to get them focusing on the strike zone with a batter in the mix. Its not exactly the same as facing live batters in a game situation, but it does help with accuracy having the batter. The batter and the strike zone are separate pieces that easily clip right to the fence. It's pretty easy to pull tight and get the batter standing straight, and the strike zone straight, because the clips are at the corners. The price is low enough to make this a good value buy for how this helps young pitchers.

Our 10 year old son is working hard to be a pitcher. We purchased a net for him to throw to in our back yard that is complete with a strike zone and ball catch. He has been doing great and improving his speed and accuracy. However, we found at practice, when a batter was at the plate, that all changed. We realized that he needed a more realistic practice scenario, which is what this provides. The dummy target is a perfect size for our net, and it gives a great sense of a batter at the plate. It's made of a good, quality material that should last a long time. And the best part is that it attaches with velcro tabs that make it 100% portable. We've started bringing it to team practice to attach to the nets and fences there. Overall a great tool for any pitcher and well-worth the price!

I grabbed this for my son to use with a portable pitching net to give him the feel of having a person at the plate while still providing the target box of the net itself. It has served well for improving his pitching accuracy.

I bought this for my 8yr old nephew to practice pitching. It's easy to set up and strong enough to catch an 8yr old pitch. The batter is a bit taller than an 8yr old but it gives a general strike zone to throw to.
