This is great for remodeling and adding drains where space is very limited, I used mine under a basement shower where I didn't want to cut into the concrete floor to get a trap in, just the ticket! And couldn't find one at the home improvement stores.

This trap set too low and would not pass water and did not stop the airflow therefore it would not kept a good seal…🤔🤔🤔 FOR MY APPLICATION!This may work just fine for you..?🤷♂️🤷♂️

Cost was almost trivial. The repair (a decomposed aluminum drain) took hours to squeeze into a tiny place, but the corrugated flex hose did the trick.
