This isn't the first nor last Bayou Classics product I've bought. The stuff they make is good value for the money. And this item is no exception. It's well built, works well, is decently sized and is about as easy to clean as it gets.

My other half fries a lot, he has a deep pot, but no basket... so he uses this basket spoon. It comes in handy often, super durable and can hold a lot more of whatever he's frying, making the whole process go quicker.

I was worried that the handle wouldn't be long enough for use at my work with professional sized fryers. Was perfect. The quality is exceptional. We use this item all say everyday, 7 days a week 12 hours a day and it looks as new as it did the first day I received it. My old one was simular but burnt through the wire netting after a few months. I have had this one 4 or 5 months and still looks perfect. The weight is light but strongly made, doesn't flex or bend under strain of stirring 32pcs of chicken. Cleans in a jiff.

Bought this along with my Outdoor Turkey Deep Fryer. I made chicken wings in the deep fryer & used the skimmer to move the wings while they were cooking and to get them out as they got finished. It worked perfectly & made the job easier! I definitely recommend one of these to use on an outdoor deep fryer!!

Very good and sturdy product... I used this to fish out my seafood boils in a 24qt pot. It works great!!! However, you will need to wipe it dry immediately after washing since it will develop rust spots. That's the only thing that I have noticed after several usage and washings. Otherwise, there's no problem with this product!!!
