Fired at Cone 06 and the wires warped and destroyed several pieces I was trying to fire. The stands themselves are fine but the metal is very weak and can not handle any heat. Would NOT recommend

Needed high heat tension rods to hang ornaments on that would not bend at a high kiln heat this one works great.

Sadness. I fired glazed pendants , the wires on this stilt warped and failed. My work stuck to the stilt, and to each other.. Note to Self : Always read reviews . (And read full description: max temp it can handle is 2025* while cone 6 is about 2200... drrrr

Thought these rods would take a ^6 glaze firing but no. If I even put one ornament on a rod it would bend and if I put more than that the ornaments would clump together. The ornaments are glazed on both sides so I have to hang them otherwise I wouldn't need rods and stilts. The stilts are good and the rods don't roll off easily like some if you bump into them.
