Cut the sun to what I wanted. Great product. I fastened it to my motorhome awning so when I roll the awning up, it rolls up with it.

Make sure the room you put it in is within the area it covers. We ran this once to check it out, and it was good. We are waiting for smokey days because we live in a potential wildfire zone

I bought these to cover my vegetable garden because we have been hit by extended heat wave after heat wave here in California. I put these over my garden hoops and clamped them in place with pipe clamps. The netting stays in place and does everything I need it to. These are very well constructed and I plan to purchase more in the future.

As happens so often it snowed unexpectedly. Wet, heavy snow. It's now 27°F and the sun shade is holding a great big lethal chunk of frozen snow. HOLDING is the key word here. It provided just the right amount of shade all summer long for my makeshift catio, kept the birds from flying in, kept rain out and now this. I highly recommend.

We purchased these to protect some tender hydrangeas from the sun. They do work and are easy to secure to something like a fence with twist ties or the like. I do wish they came in more attractive colors, like tan, or forest green. The black or bright green are not attractive at all. They are effective though, at letting in enough light while protecting the plants from too much sun.

I bought several and some tore after one summer season due to some winds. But they did protect my sago palms.

This shade cloth will be a nice addition to our Pergola. We were looking for an inexpensive solution to provide shade while still allowing see through visibility. This is a very good answer to our problem. I will attach it to a gray pvc conduit pipe to allow easy rolling up when not needed. Our pergola is fitted with Coolaroo shade rollers on the back part to provide full privacy and while they're a great product, the cloth is barely see through. As other reviewers have indicated, a 40% shading sounds about right. The product states that it is UV protected which is important seeing as it's blocking the sun :)Update October 2020. The shade curtain performed flawlessly and shows absolutely no sign of wear. No rips and no fading. Great product.

For the price, this Was a great find, it was exactly what i was looking for!(shade for my balcony garden) I rolled mine up as i needed something (the SPOUSE PUT HOOKS ON THE CEILING , SO YOU CAN UNROLL AND PIN UP TO BLOCK THE ENTIRE FRONT SUNLIGHT(I have yet to use it) not only to filter sunlight so the plants dont roast, but also works as a nice wind blocker.I also noticed that the apartment doesn't heat up in the afternoon heat as much!AWESOME BUY! WORTH HAVING!

I have a pergola that had an adjustable/move able cloth cover. The cover was destroyed over the years and I had to remove it. I was unable to find a replacement cover. It’s seems it is discontinued. I thought I would try this shade cloth to see if it helped cut the glare from the sun before I invested a lot of money in trying to find a new custom cover. I am very pleased with it. I just put it up using some zip ties. It is very inexpensive but does help with the sun. I am not sure if it will last until next season because it’s not the strongest material, but so far so good. It was worth it for me to try it and it saved me some money at least for this summer. I imagine it would work great for a garden cover.
