I bought a few of these as they were on a dirt-cheap sale and I love a bargain. They're not as heavy or solid-feeling as an SM58 or Behringer XM8500 and the handling noise is not great. They actually sound pretty good and would work well as a podcast microphone or even a live microphone that wasn't leaving the mic stand. The first thing I did with these was replace the super-cheap feeling ball basket filter on top with SM58 replacement ones from On-Stages which are inexpensive and feel and look MUCH better. Slap a Shure A58WS foam clown nose on it and you're good to go.

If you have no money for buying beta 58 or other professional mic in same rate never mind it's for you (me) but you have to do one things put more filters (fome) top of the microphone coil and if you can collect microphone transformer use it because i using shure 58 microphone transformer now pressure control is better then before

Very Good performance at this price range. It comes with hard case and I was surprised. Even the costlier mics do not come with hard case. It serves my purpose.

Perfect for rehearsal... $12 of pure joy... Everyone else in my band uses SM58s (even the other members who sing background), well I also sing backup and good mics are provided at our shows so, I decided to buy this mic; just to see... I mean, worst case scenario; I wasted $12... Just so happens, for practice; this little jewel does much better than expected... Pretty clear and stout... The biggest difference between this mic & a SM58, from a basic rehearsal mixing standpoint; this mic requires a little bit more post gain... Which is fine for rehearsal, as far as I’m concerned... I’m not sure I’d actually try to use it at a show of any size, because having to use more post gain may produce feedback much easier... Anyway, all in all; great little practice mic... You add in the case & mic clip; and I almost feel like the mic was thrown in free... Just my $0.02...

Price is pretty good but sound quality is very bad. I did not aspect such quality from Beringer.

Blown away by this handheld dynamic cardioid. For simply talking to friends on Discord, I was considering getting a Shure SM58 which is around $100 right now, but after discovering that this recently came out I had to give it a shot. Sounds way better than the Neewer N800 condenser I had lying around, and compared to any other mic I've used it's crystal clear and sounds amazing. Right now I have it plugged into my Focusrite Scarlett Solo, and I have to max the gain out pretty much compared to the N800 which I had about a third of the way to get the same output, so I might get a preamp. Regardless, this is an incredibly good value microphone, you can't go wrong with this. The carrying case is pretty nice too considering to buy one you'd be paying the same price if not more.
