These are well made of a nice (artificial) textile, and have a very elegant appearance. They are useful for much more than holding curtains, which they do very well, even in windy places like my open-to-nature home. For example, my door bell used to be a ship's bell. It's a nice, heavy-metal sound. On the ship, the pull was a dirty old rope. At home, I use one of these curtain tiebacks. Very elegant. Another example, a door that blows shut with a loud bang. I could put hardware on the floor or the wall, but instead I loop one of these tiebacks around a nearby furniture piece and then hang the loop over the door knob. Looks cool, and is easier to handle than hooks or doorstops.

I ordered 2 sets of the 2 pack. Decently priced. Packaged well to protect the tassels, arrived in a timely manner. The variegated colors made matching to my sheer curtains a lot easier than a solid colored tie-back. Thick, heavy weight, balances well with thicker curtains. Nicely fancy & classy without being gaudy, tacky, or too over the top. *BONUS* the company included little clear hooks! My family & friends love the crystal & tasseled tie-backs, also!Only downside: not the best craftsmanship: messy hot gluing, some found on the plastic crystals & had to scrape off with my finger nail, not even straight on the bottom, but that won't be seen. Deducted 1 star.

I ordered these from Amazon, and had low expectations but to my surprise, I think they are lovely. Yes they are large but my windows are gigantic so they work for me. I am really happy with them. No issues with them after a week of trying them out.

Super happy with the Good QUALITY, PRICE and LOOK. I used the for my sheer curtains hanging from my Lanai of my patio. I replaced brown ties with this dark beige which makes white sheers look elegant. These tie backs are thick, strong easy to tie and down right gorgeous looking. Now thinking about replacing others.
