I needed 2 electric box screw -in - plugs because my electrician never bothered to install them, merely covering the box with duct tape which frayed over time. Wasn’t exactly sure of the right size but this product came in both 2” and 3” diameter. Took about a minute to install the plugs and done for under 5 bucks.

The electrician that fixed a switch for me added a box, but didn't plug the two 1/2" holes in the box, thus allowing moisture in. So I wanted plastic plugs, and these worked fine. Didn't have a use for the 3/4" plugs; wish they just sold a bag of 4 1/2" plugs, hence 4 stars instead of 5.Overall: recommended.

I understand this is made of plastic, but this has got to be the softest most brittle material I've ever worked with.Screwing this into place even the slightest started shredding the grooves.

The right product for the job, the closure plugs sealed the extra openings in the outdoor junction box perfectly. As suggested by manufacturer, I add a small bap of silicon sealer just to ensure a long term water tight seal.

We had to deck boxes for pool lights that needed their original wire holes plugged and new holes drilled under the box so that they could be encased in cement.I screwed these into the holes and they worked perfectly to keep the cement out.Some reviews mention they are a little fragile. That is true. I tested one to begin with, and when I unscrewed it, it ruined the screw driver head slot on the plug. So that is a little flimsy.Just be careful screwing them in and do not screw too tight.The deck box was encased into the cement and I am happy to report that no cement got into the inside of the deck box. Worked like a charm for my application.

We have outdoor lights that were too bright, so we wanted to remove some of the bulbs. We bought these plugs, and they worked well, although they were a little tricky to install (My finger dexterity is not like it used to be.). Only wish they would sell in one size or another...not mixing 2 different sizes in one package. Needless to say, make sure your lights are unplugged when you install the plugs.

I was looking for a weatherproofing option to plug exposed sockets on a light string that did not have bulbs attached. This does the trick. Should help keep out water, debris, and bugs.

My outdoor outlet box did not have the covers. It's nice that this one is perfect and has two common sizes.
