Beauty, practicality & safetyThis particular model, brown color with white diamond design goes well with our expresso color stairs and white banisters.It adds practicality as well, cause the white color diamond design on this carpet stair runners aid in visibility on darker color stairs, by giving us more depth perception when we walk up or down the stairs, even in illuminated or partially illuminated lighting conditions.It adds safety as well cause this carpet stair runners stick well on the stairs, and peel off easily if we want to remove them for cleaning, without damaging the wood stain.They are made of quality materials that stay flat on the stairs after installing them.I had ordered a pack of 15 and it was more than enough to cover all of our stairs, but we like them so much, I ordered an extra pack of 4 of the same color and design, just in case we need to replace any, cause our cat likes them too:)I'm also planning to order an extra case of 15, same color and design, in case this particular brown color with the white diamonds design is discontinued in the future.The current size of this particular product and this particular design is 28 inches long and 9 inches wide from this vendor.I wish they would offer both 30 inches or even 32 inches long and 9 inches wide sizes of the same design and color for wider size stairs, for a wider coverage area, hopefully in the near future.Some manufacturers offer longer sizes, but it's not the same color and same design pattern as this particular one we got from this particular vendor, and the quality of this particular product is quite impressive.

Bought these for my stairs and they were only painted and I needed something more elegant. They made my stair look beautiful and provided a slip resistance. Great quality, easy to fix and clean.

STRENGTHS- Wonderfully comfortable to walk on- Appear durable- Appealing color(s)- Sticks to stairs like they owe it money- Easy to peel up and reposition- SANELY priced, unlike nearly every other supplier"WEAKNESSES"- Protective film requires some strength to remove effectively- Color(s) in photos can be radically different than reality (my high-end iPhone renders a completely different color than reality)- Very slightly irregular, requiring minor fussing to get looking completely straight- Some customers experience lack of sticking to stairsNOTES- If they don't stick, are your stairs reasonably smooth? Did you wipe them down thoroughly with a non-oily cleaner like rubbing alcohol? Are the stairs waxed; the wax needs to be removed. These things WANT to stick like crazy but YOU HAVE TO BE REASONABLE.

I really like these stair treads. They were installed over a month ago and they are still holding in place. We have them installed on real wood flooring. They are easy to clean and add a nice glow up to the stairs as well. We always receive compliments on them and people are shocked how well they hold in place. My bf and I walk up and down the stairs normally we are not running, but our dog likes to fly up and down the stairs and she has yet to make one move. I would highly recommend these stair treads. We did have to flatten out some of the edges with the help of a 12 pack of soda but no issues with corner’s coming up terribly high on the stairs themselves. None of us are falling or slipping anymore!A little trick to removing the plastic backing. The plastic backing is split into two pieces by the manufacture so that you can lift from the center of the tread outwards. When you lift up from the center where it tells you to, cut the plastic backing in half all the way to the edge of the stair tread, so that you now have two strips ready to peel off all the way to the short edge. If you leave it as once piece you are awkwardly pulling it off from the middle to the edges in one piece leading to the shredding/pulling off in pieces issue everyone has. Once cut in half if you tug the plastic backing along the edge while peeling it off you will get one clean sheet off until you reach the short ends where’s it trends to be hit or miss if it will fray and pull off in pieces. I also think those who had numerous strips pulled the backing too fast. Peel this slowly like you got a new phone or tech item with that plastic cover. By cutting cutting the backing in the center you will have to take off 4 strips of plastic instead of two making the process longer but trust me it’s way faster than removing a zillion shreds of plastic from the back of the stair tread when you remove it to fast or try to remove one whole piece from the center. I hope this helps!!

These stair treads are not only stylish, but provide great comfort and stability not only for myself, but for our small Bichon puppy, who absolutely hates steps. The company emailed me super easy and thorough installation instructions immediately after placing my order, which my son said were a no brainer and super easy to install. The color is spot on, and is so pretty, and compliments my conservative farmhouse style.They stay put, but are so easy to lift up if necessary. I haven't needed to wash them as they are still new, but they appear to be sturdy and would stand up to a light delicate wash. After stripping our stairs years ago, I never wanted treads, but the addition of this puppy has made it necessary. Super easy to vacuum with no movement at all. I truly love them.
