Major safety issue : nuts weren't knurled. Which means they can back out which would be really bad. I bought a few off Amazon and the quality of all of them was bad so I went to a bike shop and for $15 got a higher quality exact replacement.Pros:- axle seems strong- inexpensiveCons:- safety hazard as neither of the front axle nuts were knurled (see pic)- bad quality bearing races with rough surfaces

I didn't have a better option and so, even though there were a number of people who warned that this axle bent easily, I tried it anyway. Indeed, the axle bent easily and there is a noticeable wobble in my rear wheel because of this.

I don't know how to feel about this product. It took some convincing for my local bike shop to install it. They advised against random parts on the internet, especially because the axle seemed slightly bent shortly after it was installed. Did it get me back on the trail? Yes. Will I pay for it later? To be determined.

Las medidas no son las mismas, las chapas que cierran las bolas no son ambas de 22mm como pone en la descripción ademas todas vienen levemente dobladas lo que hace que las bolas no vayan finas

This is a pretty comprehensive kit to replace or upgrade axles to aluminum skewers. The original skewers equipped on bikes from 20 or more years ago can, due to a ?defect?, break if you overtighten them and the chrome eventually gives way to rust where anodized aluminum resists oxidation pretty well. Mountain bikes with nutted, solid axles can be upgraded using this kit and you'll just need 18 ball bearings which is what your wheel should already have or you can easily purchase separately through other sellers.
