I designed and built some quail cages with this. Works great. The vinyl covered wire is better for the birds' feet than plain wire, and easy to clean up.

This hardware cloth has been the easiest to work with versus any other hardware cloth I have used. The quality of it is great since it is coated, makes bending and overall handling functionality of it much easier/ feel “softer”. I was going to go with a traditional hardware cloth from like Lowe’s or Home Depot, but this was the same price as theirs. Considering I wanted to paint it black for visual purposes, this was an obvious choice for the same price minus the can of paint. I used it on a 8ftx7ftx7ft greenhouse, and the size covered all I needed. I am using it to keep critters away from my veggie plants.

Got this for a project and it's been great, it is fairly easy to cut with my electric metal shears or angle grinder. Found they do better keeping the coating on it that just cutting it. Easy to bend if you need to but it does still take some tools and knowing how. The size a little big for some bird feet if you use it for the bottom of the cage but for fencing and garden it's great.

Used under and around raised garden beds to keep the Ground Hogs at bay. So far so good.
