When I was 14, my dad gave me for Christmas a Remington Model 700 ADL chambered in 30.06. It is my only hunting rifle, and I have harvested many a deer since. However, the original sling is a 1" W black nylon strap which doesn't grab my shoulder when walking, and has always been a nuisance. Previously, I had to pay constant attention to repositioning the sling higher on my shoulder while it slipped down a bit with each step. Now, I can walk with confidence -- not worrying about my rifle sliding off my shoulder. Finally, 57 years later, I have found the perfect solution.There are less expensive and more expensive solutions out there. However, this is a great sling for a reasonable price.

This one fits the best. It's not to narrow or up fat. Easy to hold. Still let's the gun slide on your shoulder but not as bad as other's

Good sling. Stays on connected to shoulder when rifle is slung. The length of the sling is great too if you like to use it the in various shooting positions. Lastly it is easy to adjust.

Does not slip. Wears like iron. Very comfortable. I use the contoured sling on my rifles and the angular version on my shotguns. Simply a matter of personal preference. I find the angular version just a little more stable with the bulk of a semi-automatic shotgun.
