I ordered these because description stated they were post cards made from watercolor paper which in fact is not true at all. The post cards are glossy and watercolors do not work on them and the post card bends very badly when wet. I will not be purchasing these again. I was very disappointed with this purchase.

Pencil and colored pencils won't work on these. Make sure you have an adequate assortment of markers for these. Mailed just fine with a single Forever postage stamp.

These cards are nice mailing weight for postcards, but definitely not the soft porous paper you need for watercolors. The cards, as others have mentioned, have sheen that is too slippery for paint or an at home printer.I will use them, just not for paint.

The cards arrived well packaged in a black box with two stacks of 50 cards. The cards are solid and the address area is well printed. However, I purchased these to be used in a color printer. Although the description states that they can be used in a printer, the ink bleeds until the graphic is almost unrecognizable as you can see in the photo. Even though regular cardstock isn't the greatest for quality color printing and I used more forgiving abstract art, the cardstock is vastly better than the postcard print. I tried a number of different settings (I thought reducing the print quality/ink might help) without better results. I have purchased blank postcards in the past and they've printed without any issue. I also tried marker pens on the cards. The results were better, but they still tended to bleed and color unevenly. These postcards might be okay for collage or something like that, but I can't recommend them for ink or other wet media.

First of all, these cards seem to be very good quality. I was excited to use them in my inkjet printer. The first card out had SO MUCH BLEED. I had set the settings to premium glossy, and that was apparently wrong.I switched to premium matte. Less bleed, but still way too much.At this point I haven't found any settings on my ET-8550 or ET-3850 printers that come out nice on these cards. Honestly, I am frustrated and am giving up. I have no idea how these fare for painting, but my guess is BETTER THAN PRINTING. Maybe someone else will find good settings, but I don't really have time for that. Or rather, the mental patience. For reference, I print on a LOT of different materials, from parchment, to regular printer paper, to glossy photo paper. 99% of the time I get great prints, with minimal effort (just select the paper type closest to what I have, and off I go).So these may be better for hand art? Good luck!

We purchased these based on the description that said you could use water paint on them. NOT accurate as they are glossy and it would run right off. We have a very dissapointed 11 yo who wanted to make Valentine's day cards.
