Everytime I buy a 40 series torque converter off of Amazon I end up having to swap the spring in the driven pulley, do a bunch of grinding and replacing bearings, buy or fashion a pillow block and modify the jackshaft with collars just to get things to line up. This back plate solves all of my problems in one package. I was more than happy to see how well made this plate is and the abundant amount of extra hardware including a spring to run the driven pulleys outboard really made me smile. Keep up the good work for once the "Amazon Special" is worth every penny.

Super Fast shipping. Came with well written instructions, parts I didnt expect such as a green spring for the torque converter. Parts seem high quality.

I have no idea why it took this long for someone to finally produce the plate for the 40 series torque converter...but I'm glad these guys did!! I searched all over and it's so hard to find just the plate.This plate is top notch, heavy duty, powder coated and seems built to last. It came with everything to bolt right up including some washers for spacing. Shipping was very quick and I was very please with the product they they produce. Once I put some miles on it - I will update my review if need be but for now it's definitely 5 stars based on what I've seen so far.Thanks!!!!
