Syringe could be a bit more robust but good enough for the DIY mechanic

Did my first bleed today and with the help of the video it went flawlessly. I have Tekro brakes and will be changing them in the future for better brakes, but for now the spongyness of my current Tekro brakes has been resolved thanks to this product. Definitely recommend them.

EVERYTHING popped off and sent mineral oil all over I bought this kit to use on an older Tektro disc brake system with automotive type bleeder screw. The tube from the kit that fits over the bleeder screw at the caliper stayed on fairly well, the tube that screwed onto the tool fitting itself was loose and poorly fitted, the threaded fitting from the kit fit correctly in the Tektro brake lever hole. With better tubing and better syringes the system might be ok. Did I mention that the syringes have such a small diameter hole where the hose attaches that air bubbles no matter how small the bubbles had difficulty getting out of the line through the small orifice on the syringe. You can make this kit work but it’s not going to be easy or clean

First time I've bled my brakes and these made the process easy. Had mushy feeling Tektro rear brakes that I constantly had to adjust the levers. Attached the syringes with 20ml of brake fluid and flushed out the old fluid from the caliper. Now I've got solid feeling brakes with no more mush. The syringes are good quality and work great, also used one with the short hose to insert oil into my suspension forks when I did a lower leg service, perfect for the 10ml of fluid needed.

EDIT: Absolutely useless. The plungers are only a plastic seal, which would be okay if not for the part that hoses and how they connect to.....well anything. EVERYTHING popped off and sent mineral oil all over my room. I replaced the plungers with better plungers - ones with rubber seals, and once again the hoses popped off and sprayed mineral oil all over my room.I am walking away from these and am frustrated. Zero stars

The idea is sound. The execution is not. Both syringes need to have the threaded connector for the hose so the fluid can be transferred back and forth between the disc caliper and the master cylinder. This method rids the system of all air with the final push from caliper to master cylinder. The first push from the caliper flushes out the old fluid, followed with another in the same direction if needed. At this point, there should be no air.....finished. If a new system is installed, there is no contamination to remove. The fluid can travel both ways to rid the system of air.
