The stainless cable I used went through with no difficulty.The added drill bit makes sure you have exactly the right sized hole to keep them from sliding back out when pushing the cable through.The powder coating helps to keep them from shining in the sunlight for a less visible look and matches the black screws I used to install the cabling. It looked great when I finished.These should last years.

These seem to be some decent-quality black stainless protector sleeves. These are a must-have for running wire rope through wooden posts, as it keeps the wire rope from wearing down the edge of the hole. It also provides a much cleaner look to the hole.I will be running stainless guide wires through some wood posts for lighting, so this pack contains more than I will need for the project. They will be a good thing to keep around though.

I got these to use in my garden to run stainless cable through some fence posts. Using it to espalier some pear and apple trees. I live in a coastal climate and I have found that 316 (or at least 304) grade stainless is mandatory to avoid corrosion. These are also power coated black for a moder look. Just drill the hole and counter sink these and run your 316 stainless cable through and you are all set. One time installation should last for years.

My Deck railing is getting old and needs to be replaced. I didn’t want to do it in wood again because of the high maintenance. I wanted something simple and long-lasting. I saw some cable railings at a home show a couple years ago and decided to make that. After studying all the different ways to continue the cable through the post, I ordered this set of BLIKA 50 Pack Black Stainless Steel Protector Sleeves. My cable is 1/8th inch cable, but these sleeves work with 1 /8-inch, 5/3 or 3/16-inch cable widths.After drilling the hole that the cable goes in, these are very easy to tap into place so that the cable can be threaded through.I chose the black sleeves which are made of T316 Stainless Steel. This type of Stainless is very strong and is rust and corrosion resistant. This is exactly what’s needed for outdoor use. If you want a good quality cable sleeve that will stand through the elements, consider this one from BLIKA. They even include the drill bit needed for installation!
