I used these when building my 1/8” stainless steel railing. That look extra nice when using stainless steel sleeves on the opposite side of the end post. They provide ample threads for a nice tight install.

I tried other brands and none are as good as these for several reasons. Every single one of them threaded on and off perfectly no defects. The design is very smart. The head of the two-piece swage is shorter than the barrel. This allows it to be used in very tight spaces, and along a barrel holds more cable to use the hydraulic crimper on. The head with the hex head to tighten and tension is very thick so if you're in an area where you can't fit an allen key you can grab it with a small channel lock or vice grip and turn it. Everything that you could hit as an obstacle they thought of. Built Rock Solid and built smart

I tried using these, They difficult to use when trying to catch the threads inside the a post sleeve. I figured I would just spend the time and patience to get them installed. - They are a very nice clean look once they're in. However, after fighting with them multiple times to get them at least to look like they're tight, I was able to enjoy them for a few weeks or so only having to go tighten a cable here an there every few days. Now they've made it a few weeks and the temperature is warming up. I notice at first 1 or 2 cables are again loose and I can't get them tight anymore. After giving up on those two a few days later I notice it's now about half of my cables have now loosened up and are sagging. Now I have spent quite a bit for around 160 of these, I now have 100's of holes drilled for these in my $2,000+ post sleeves and I'm on here looking for something to replace them that will actually tighten and stay that way. While trying to pick what I thought would look the best, I've spent 100's of hours dealing with them, I'm now going to end up with a bunch of black plastic plugs throughout $1000's of new railing. Yeah they do look great, but with both ends being a very short amount of pull and normal RH threads as you're screwing in one side it's unscrewing the other side. When you try holding with allen at one end you bind the cable and it just unwinds as soon as you let go. Maybe you'll have better luck but I'm giving up now and looking for something perhaps little less attractive but at least it'll look better than saggy cables.

Is great once u have a good cable cutters. This product is better if u used at both ends so u can pull from both sides.
