They work as stated and are bright enough for a nice under glow. The one downside is the wire size as definitely small than they state. 4 starts for this as a small up size in wire size is needed.

At less than a dollar a piece, you can't go wrong. Good value for the money. These quality led strips function perfectly. The wire length is 9 inches. Plenty bright enough to light up the floors in my truck. I used 2 per side and attached them to a mounting plate I made from aluminum. I drilled a hole in each end of the plate so I can zip tie the whole assembly up under the dash where I wanted. Easier to install or replace/remove them if I ever need to. I put a thin layer of silicone on the mounting plate before attaching the light strips to the plate. That will ensure the lights stay in place regardless of the hot and cold temperatures they will see.

12/2/24 These led light strips do not last. I installed some of theses led light strips on 11/26/24. All the led strips lite up and looked good. Then the same evening, I noticed a few of the diodes went out / fail and over the course of the evening a few more. went out / failed. 1 of the led strips failed completely. I replaced the defective strips the next day. Only to have the same issues of the diodes failing. These LED Strips Do Not Last. The longevity of these LED Lights are Terrible.

I just wanted some subtle purple light to highlight around the grill of my car. Just 3 of these strips are anything but subtle. The only time I can't see the lights reflecting off the asphalt is in full sunlight. I hadn't planned on doing the entire undercarriage but I have enough lights if I choose. I'll probably put the rest of the car on a single, fused circuit and leave just the grill lights wired in with my running lights. If you were wanting "blacklight" UV lighting, the purple isn't quite as deep as Ultra Violet light. It has more of a pink tinge to it, but not enough to consider them pink. (my dislike of the color pink isn't about feminine/masculine conformity, I just don't care for it.)Now I have to do some serious planning to get these in a chain since there's no simple way to daisy them together. It looks like the 2 leads on the opposite end of the wires are designed to chain them but they are covered by the clear layer. Fortunately, even after lighting the undercarriage up like a runway, I should have 5 or 6 strands to experiment with.I found the best way to strip the wires back is to burn the ends of the plastic (outside, don't breathe in the smoke). l recommend taping or gluing the ends because even if you solder them the wires only contain 5 or 6 strands of very thin copper and will break under about 15 pounds of pull. I'm betting you can only daisy chain them about 3 strips deep from the power source before the voltage starts to drop off. That size wire isn't going to carry juice very far.

I’ve ordered this product from another website where I was charged more for a lesser number of lights. I recently purchased this product and was skeptical regarding what I would receive and quality.I’ve received these lights which was delivered faster than expected and the quality was extremely impressive. If you’re looking for these type of lights, then you need to just order them from this seller and get ready to install because your going to receive them faster than you think. These lights are brighter and higher quality than any you might find on another website.I’m giving them a superior rating. Thanks for your superior service. I’d buy them again when I’m ready to do my wife’s truck.

2nd time useing this product. 1st time was green 2nd blue ice. They stick well to the surface of however in area that get engine heat the stickiness needs a littel help (I used the G2 glue stayed clear and held realy good). From the first time to the second lot of knowledge was gained i would recommend leveing little bit of slack you will have one or two straps the will stop working ( after about 6 months to be fair i also was riding in harsh weather from winter east cost usa). However with the extra I had laying around no issues just remove the old and in with the new.

I bought these white LED strips to mount in overhead RV cabinets to illuminate the insides for finding items. These are plenty bright for my application and with 15 LEDs inside a cabinet the interior was well lit, but my issue is the transfer adhesive is inconsistent from OK to non-existent. The problem is when the transfer adhesive sticks to the plastic tape and not transferring you then have non-adhesive strips. I used Weldwood original contact adhesive in the red can. It worked very well, but you do need to wait 20 minutes for the cement to dry before sticking the LED strips. Also, have a drop cloth or paper below to catch any adhesive drips. As for the very thin wires, I have the perfect solution to that. Note that I did not want to do any soldering so I used only crimp terminals and quick splice insulation displacing taps. The trick to do this successfully is to first cut off the soldered ends of the wires and remove the insulation with a sharp knife for about 2 inches being careful to only cut the plastic and not the metal strands. If you are using blue crimp terminals, take a very short length of #14 or #16 stranded copper wire and strip about 1/4" insulation. Wrap the 2 inches of very thin LED wires around the stranded copper wire and shove into the crimp connector and then crimp as usual. You will a very reliable connection. To tap into your 12 volts and ground lines, I crimped the LED leads onto a short length of #14 or #16 wire butt splice terminal. I left the other end open but I could have protected that with heat shrink tubing. Now I had the LED wire connected to a short length of insulated wire. I took the other end and used the quick splice insulation displacing tap to connect to either ground or 12 volts reliably. Note the white lights consumed only about 1-1/2 watts.
