For some reason tele pickup switches tend to get loose. Even my Ultra Tele does this! The tab on the ultra is a bit wide for this knob. I easily widened the slot on the knob and now it fits super tight. Somebody here said it was plastic chrome but these are definitely metal with a nice mirror finish and looks great with the other chrome parts

Got the wrong one but drilled it out and threaded it on.works perfect..all knobs replaced and chrome humbucker covers going on next.little face lift never hurt nobody right

I love the bright colors. Tempted to get these for several of my guitars. I especially dislike the off-white ("cream") colored plastic that comes on most strat-style guitars. While these tips are plastic, they pull off the metallic look nicely.Kudos to the manufacturer for giving an engineering drawing showing the exact dimensions. For those who may not have noticed, this is not a simple "plus" shape: one slot is both longer and wider than the other, so if it doesn't fit on your guitar switch, turn it 90 degrees and try the other slot. Make sure to measure your actual guitar switch before ordering to make sure it will fit one of the two slot sizes.

Sadly, this will not fit an American Professional Strat. The slots are too narrow and too short. I ordered the red to accent my Candy Apple Red finish. Thought this would give it a bit of a custom shop look. Perhaps it would work with a MIM or MIJ Strat. I don't know. It looks good however and I really wanted it to work. I take partial responsibility. I should have measured my switch with calipers before ordering.
