Does what it's meant to do, and does it well. It's a little bit expensive considering what it is and what it does, but not expensive enough for me to be dissatisfied with the purchase. And it's definitely less expensive than most other sling mounting options out there.

This is a good add on to protect your sling from a hot barrel. I have a few of these in different sizes and use them on my AK and AR rifles because I like to multi-position my slings. If you get your barrel hot it will damage a nylon sling, but these loops keep the nylon strap away from the heat. Also it is great for Southpaw shooters, as the AK platform is particularly right handed, but this loop can be used on either side of the firearm.
