I've used Blue Juice valve oil on my tpts, flug, and cornet for many years and find it to work excellently. I've also liked Slick Stuff oil, but stick to Blue Juice. However, this has nothing to do with an alto sax case! I needed some oil quickly, and guessed, on a hope and a prayer that I'd get oil. The oil arrived very promptly and included a very nice note from the seller. And, no, no sax case. :)

This works pretty well, and I'm so surprised to see it in such a large quantity! My daughter says that it works great on her euphonium, and it's really helpful to have it in such a large amount. She kept running out when she had small bottles, but now this lasts for quite a while and her friends can use it, too! She says that you don't have to oil your valves as often with this valve oil. As for the quality, it's quite good for the price. It's not as good as the Professional Giardinelli valve oil, but almost as good, and definitely worth the price. Will buy again (if we ever run out!)

I've used a good variety of valve oils since I've started playing tuba and nothing has ever compared to Blue Juice. It is by far the best valve oil I've ever used and wouldn't want to buy anything else. I put this oil on my sousaphone valves before summer break last year at my high school and when I got back the valves were still very smooth and as fast as can be. Using them in a conn short throw valve tuba is by far the best combo you can get. I give this oil a 5/5 and would recommend it to anyone and everyone!

You probably want this for your trumpet. Ok. I use it for fidget spinner bearings. This has increased my spin times by about 45 seconds on the worst of bearings.Be advised, this amount is enough for you to will it to your grandchildren, or use it for a decade of band practice for the entire school. This is seriously much more than I will ever need.

I have read good and bad about this product. In my limited experience it seems to work great for my son. My sons band teacher suggested it and I purchased several kinds, but this is by far my sons favorite. I have not noticed any unusual wear on my sons student Yamaha trumpet, the music shop has not made any negative comments when sonic cleaning his trumpet. Seems like its a great product, its my sons favorite, so I love it... :)

I've used different valve oils for years while playing trumpet. This brand isn't the very best, top of the line brand that most professionals will use, but for almost any level below professional, the quality you will be getting is far superior to others, regarding price.I've noticed very few problems with "Blue Juice." It does not corrode the valves at all, as some of the lower-end brands do, and it gives a very fast valve action to the trumpet. If you use this to also cover your 1st/3rd valve slides with a thin layer of oil over the slide grease, be aware that it'll leave a small crusty blue residue behind after a few months of use. This doesn't really affect the trumpet, it's more of a cosmetic issue, but it takes a little longer to clean the slides when this occurs. This oil uses a much greater concentration (compared to other brands) of petroleum distillate - a lubricating chemical found in WD-40, etc. It's extremely harmful if swallowed, so be careful that you don't ingest any. It does make the action faster, so that's a plus, but it's at a small cost.Don't worry about the smell - I've seen that some people address that concern on their reviews. It's from a by-product of the petroleum distillate, a chemical that prevents the oil from solidifying or freezing (also found in windshield wiper fluid for cars and trucks) and isn't harmful unless swallowed or poured into the eye. The smell might bother you a little at first, but it's not harmful at that small of a concentration, not even a little bit.Over a period of several years using this product, I haven't noticed any problems with corroding on my trumpet valves. Generally, by this point, any problems with the product will have surfaced. I'm more than satisfied with using Blue Juice. The price is reasonable for a mid + grade oil - a little over two dollars an ounce. Professional quality oils increase in price greatly, up to 12 or even 15 dollars per ounce, and the increase in quality is a lot less than the increase in price. The eight ounce bottle is a little large for me, when I buy this product again I'll get the two ounce bottle, even if it's a little more expensive (per ounce). It doesn't really fit in my trumpet case oil spot, but it's a minor concern. I'd definitely recommend this product - I'll be buying it again.

This stuff is great - french horn rotary and trumpet valves are now smooth after just one good application! Whatever this is I think it is better than the normal stuff I've been using. The bad news is that the packaging from this seller left a lot to be desired. It arrived in a slightly padded envelope and the bottom of the bottle had a crack in it, so the envelope was soaked. Unhappy mailman handed it to me. Not enough had leaked to send it back (still had about 5 oz, and that will last me a year plus), but a bit more padding in the packaging would be a good idea.
