This is called a 'plow' style anchor since it resembles an old farmers plow that was pulled by a horse. It is this style anchor most commonly seen on the larger and more expensive yachts. I've not seen one this small before. It's a great anchor that holds really well for my 16ft inflatable. I wasn't expecting the super durable drawstring bag it came with. This bag makes it even more suitable for my inflatable since you never want heavy bare metal objects left on inflatable surface to avoid chaffing or punctures. The price of 40 USD is very reasonable for the quality level. I would order this again.

I was able to use the anger this past weekend. I did not realize how much I needed it because I never had one. I was able to use this on my one main kayak in moderate wind conditions. I was able to set the green two and a half pound aluminum anchor and fish without drifting off. It was very easy to assemble. It came with everything you needed. A great value and would recommend for any kayaker.

During the summer we typically like to anchor and hang out. This works really well in river currents and seems to dig in better than my girlfriend's one with the four prongs. The price is considerably higher than that version, but it does seem to work well. I'll update this review when I use it more.

This was the perfect anchor for my jon boat. I didn’t want anything too big and this worked perfectly. It comes with everything needed and it even has a nice carrying bag and thing to wrap the rope around too. I would definitely recommend this anchor.

It's everything you need to anchor your kayak or paddleboard! I'm using it mostly for my paddleboard so I don't drift too far. It attaches to d-rings really well. There is one bolt with a nut that you need to install before you can use it, or, before it's assembled I guess. You could still use it I suppose, hahaha. There is a little plastic rope holder device included too. If you're looking to anchor a small boat/kayak/paddleboard this is a great option!

The kit is well-equipped, including a short length of galvanized chain, a stainless-steel shackle, anchor rope with an attached foam buoy, and a padded storage bag (really nice when using with an inflatable). It's suitably sized for a stand-up paddleboard, canoe, or kayak. I got it for my inflatable kayaks, the Aquaglide Chinook 120 and the Aquaglide Backwoods Angler 75, as a replacement for the grapple-style anchor I previously used. It's important to secure the shackle bolt with either a piece of galvanized or stainless-steel wire or a nylon zip tie, as they tend to loosen over time if not properly fastened and you find this out only after you've lost your anchor!

Light weight enough 2.5 lbs for use on inflatable paddle boards and holds me where I want to be when I take a break from paddling or just enjoying the scenery.I've taken this out on several excursions now and so far it's held up great it's a solid anchor for any small water craft. It's sturdy holds fast in moderate wind and has a good powder coat finish.
