These are working well on 3 200ah 24v batteries in parallel.Correct installation should be1. Battery-Post:MRBF:Washer:Lock-Washer:Nut2. MRBF:Fuse:Cable-Crimp:Washer:Lock-Washer:NutThese included two washers which can be confusing. DO NOT use a washer between the fuse and be cable crimp. That would lead to increased resistance and result in heat at the terminal.

This is a throw away item, it will have to be replaced if blown.I installed two radiator fans in my '92 Blazer with fan controller. The controller co. recommends a 100 amp fuse be installed.looking at the blade type fuses, they are huge, taking up a lot of space and with the leads on the holderjust did not look neat.Found these and they install right on the car battery, and no added wires to splice in, nor finding a place to install the holder.Yes, if you have a short at some point this module has to be replaced, so you should have a spare, they are not available everywhere.May NOT work for your project.

I use these to run part of the big 3 or 4 wiring upgrade on my classics. Typically 1/0 true copper (not CCA) red welding wire from a 180-200amp 1 wire alternator directly to the positive side post of an optima red top battery. This way it's charging system in always connected and out of the way. Freeing up the top post for all the other large gauge positive wires (starter, stereo, fuse box, headlight relays, etc etc.)Never had one pop but you always need to protect the battery via fuse from the charging alternator. You want the fuse as close to the battery as possible and matched up to the output of the alternator (or ampacity of the charging wire). This gets the fuse as close as you can get and is super low profile.I always buy and keep and extra in with other blade style and car audio anl fuses in with my basic tool kit in the trunk of the car.Hope this helps someone!

Review of Bojack MRBF 30A fuse: Used this in the Blue Seas Systems 3 position fuse block and it fits fine. Fuse quality seem OK. I did not test any of these the see if the blow at the right current of if they contain the arc correctly so that performance is unkown. Ultimately the performance of a fuse is how it blows, not how it conducts so you have to ruin it to fully test it.

A little pricey, but excellent for the task. If you need a high-amp fuse protecting your batteries, this is the fuse holder (and fuse) you need. I stalled the blade on my miter saw and it blew the 100-amp fuse sitting on this holder. There was nothing visible on the holder or on the battery and the batteries were protected. I've since bought more of these.
