I’ve been thinking about building something similar to put inline with my pump to make it easier to winterize since there’s not much room to get to the pump on my camper. This product is the perfect solution. Only thing I didn’t like was the hose they supply is too soft and it just collapses on itself when you run the pump. Easy fix is to just buy yourself some hose from a hardware store and clamp it on like normal. Don’t know why I didn’t do this years ago

There are no instructions in the box, but it's pretty straightforward. You want to put this in between the inlet side of your 12V pump and the tubing to the tank. In some situations you're going to need to move some stuff around to make it fit. Don't be afraid to move the pump an inch to the right and the tubing 2 to the left.Once it's in place, you can switch sources to easily draw antifreeze from the jugs or a big bucket.

If your RV, Travel Trailer, or other camper type with plumbing doesn't have a 3 way valve kit installed in it to winterize, this kit works great! The valve gets installed in between the fresh water tank and the water pump. it will connect to most RV internal 1/2" plumbing. This allows you to close off the fresh water tank and open a valve that goes to the included hose (i'd recommend upgrading the hose, BTW). After that, you place the hose inside the antifreeze, make sure you bypass your water heater and drain all systems, then turn on your water pump to run the anti-freeze through your lines. In the summer, to de-winterize, simply switch the valve back to your fresh water and flush everything back out. Super simple! The only reason I have for knocking a star is for the included hose. It's pretty flimsy and collapses pretty easily. The kit works great with a better hose that you can find at your local hardware store though!Recommended for those that want to make their winterizing process easier!

The valve is functional but a bit of a struggle to thread onto the pump. The included hose is really not good quality and very thin walled so I went to a local hardware store and bought better hose. All is connected and working but may look for a better combo in the future.

The hose they provide is is shipped balled up and flattened. When you put the hose in the antifreeze jug you almost have to squeeze the hose to allow the fluid to go through. Also, if you're not careful the hose will ball up in the antifreeze jug essentially not allowing any of the fluid to go through. Be prepared to by a new hose or return this item. If you already have a hose then you should be good to go. Overall I wouldn't buy again or recommend

This winterizing kit worked well in my travel trailer to allow me to winterize it with RV antifreeze. It was easy to install and use. Just close the valve to the fresh water tank, place the clear hose into the antifreeze bottle, open the antifreeze valve and turn on the pump.
