I find this carpet tractor to be just right when seaming carpets. It is nice for leaning into to add some pressure while the glue cools.

I'm seaming carpet for the first time and this was a tool that a friend in the industry recommended. Geez I figured I'd throw it away after I used it, not so, it's nicer than I anticipated. Came quickly too. Excellent seller.
