I used this to cut a rabbit on the backside of the cabinet door I built. This allowed the glass to sit inside the door frame. It worked great! Take small cuts to get to your final dimension.

she cuts nice and clean on a large maple project ive had. if its an important piece youre making use this rather than save $5-10 on the chineseum ones. just my 2cents

purchased these to bore out Chevy Aluminum rims. Works great had no issues using a FireStorm FS1200RP veriable speed router (about med speed?). took small, slow cuts at a time with no lubricant. was able to bore 8 rims before build up on the cutting blade/edge. excellent alternative than sending rims to a machine shop.

Then description amazon has for the Bosch rabbeting bit model #85615MC is wrong. It says the bit is 1 1/2" in diameter. It is not. It is 1 3/8" in diameter.This needs to be revised. Any body who thinks they are going to get a cut larger then 1/2" using a smaller bearing will be out of luck.
