Finding ways to channel my son's energy, frustration, etc. while also getting some exercise in. He has one of those rectangular punching bag/mats velcro'd to his bunk bed post and uses these to get that energy out. My son is not a big kid and so for as often as he uses these (few times a week, maybe 1 hour total) these gloves show almost zero signs of wear. Again, he's not doing any intense training and so his hands probably aren't generating much heat in these plastic gloves, which might be something to consider if you plan to use them to train extensively.

These gloves are sturdy and have great weight to them. These are perfect for self-defense training and sparring. The size of the gloves is good for teens and up. They're made of good quality, and you don't have to worry about them falling apart. I would recommend for a someone just starting out. These gloves would make a great gift for beginners.

Padding in these is very very light, as expected. They're labeled "kids" size but these could easily fit a young teenager, maybe even an adult of slight build. Certainly doesn't offer a ton of protection but if you're just using these for sparring pads, they'll get the job done. Surprisingly durable so far.

Got these for my son (5 turning 6) who loves to punch things (me). He put them on for the first time and absolutely loved them. They're great for burning off energy.Very surprised on how nice these gloves are. Lots of padding in the right places, seams look tight, and nothing seems like it will fail with the light to medium use these will get.
