Did a complete brake job and trying to get all of the squishiness out of the pedal. So I bought this in the hopes adjusting the brake booster rod would give me the rock hard pedal I deserve after spending two weekends replacing all of the braking components. I will warn you, though this device does not fit over the push rod end of the master cylinder on my 2006 F150 now I’m not sure if Ford would make them any smaller on, newer, bigger, heavier trucks, but measuring with the calipers my master cylinder was 1.9 inches on the rod side. I scoured Amazon looking for another one of these magical tools, but it appears they are all identical in size. I may have to resort to 3D printing one if I really want to satisfy my morbid curiosity to know if break booster is perfectly 1/16 of an inch from the master cylinder.

This tool is very handy and easy to use when you are setting up a booster/master cylinder combination. Will you use this tool all the time? No, but even if it's applied only once, it's worth it to get the clearances exactly right.

Works, and I used it to install a new break booster, I have working breaks again.Hopefully I'll never have to use it again, but was easy to check the break booster rods measurement, before installing a new master cylinder onto my new break booster.Oh... I think I said "booster" way too much in this review! :D

Worked as advertised, good tool for the money gave me a much better brake pedal and more confidence in my vehicle to brake safely.

This tool is a must if you build hot rods. By having the right adjustment you will end up with great braking.
