The brake light switch on my 2016 Pilot had started to make a mouse-like squeak noise when I would release the brake pedal. As far as I can tell this replacement part is OEM / identical to the factory part, and it fixed the problem. The part replacement under the dash was easy and did not require any tools or panel work. Save yourself an expensive trip to the dealer or shop.
