I’d say this was a good buy overall. I’m not sure we have my options for a 33 year old Miata at this point. My regulator bushing exploded a few years ago so this is miles better than that rattle. It’s a little stiff up top and I can tell it’s not made to the best standards, lots of plastic, but this was a super easy job and if it lasts years then I’m good with that. It’s quiet on close, doesn’t rattle, and smooth in operation minus the very top but still not nearly as bad as an OEM gunked up one.
