Whether you are shooting a bow at 80lbs or 350 fps or a youth bow at 10 or 15 lbs. the Doghouse FP will stop the arrow dead in its tracks. Arrow removal is a breeze.

No complaints about the product itself, but this was a Christmas present and came wrapped in see through plastic wrap which ruined the surprise. I’m super disappointed, but otherwise… great!! Easy removal and great value for money! Great size!

Fantastic target. I've had mine for years, shooting a 70# bow with 29" arrows and it easily stops my arrows and shows no signs of quitting on me. I shot super light arrows for a while (Easton Flatline 340s) and more recently switched to heavy hitters (Easton FMJ 5MM 340s) and doesn't seem to make much of a difference with the target's stopping power, though the thin diameter & metal jacket of the FMJs seem to make them easier to remove from the target.Would definitely buy again (though I will never need to because of the lifetime guarantee!)

I've used my Bulldog Plus for ~1 year (45 lb. target compound, and Victory V-FOrce carbon arrow with target points). After well >1000 shots, it's still stopping arrows with no problems. However, there are a few caveats, including a reason I didn't rate it 5 stars:- Even after 1000 shots, the arrows can be difficult to pull - not terribly hard to pull, but still can be difficult- This target won't stop an arrow if you shoot numerous times into the exact same hole (I'm not aware of any target that will...). I simply reverse sides after every 50-75 shots, and mine still stops arrows like new-The target is heavy - their website says 24 lb. - that's very optimistic - mine weighs ~36 lbs.- I'm still on my original target cover - I drew in dots all over the face, which has worked well to limit the damage- My 'problem' with the target is the residue it leaves on arrows. After a shooting session (ex: 6 shots per arrow), there is a "film" that's left on the arrow that is difficult to remove. Not a "knock-out punch", but certainly an inconvenience.Overall, I'd rate the target 3.5 out of 5 starsUPDATE: On advice from a shooting buddy, I coated the front 10" of my arrows with "Black Magic" (for tires, etc...), and the arrows now pull "clean". Have to upgrade my rating to 4.5 stars.

Bought this item so I could use it in my backyard. With my draw I am over 350fps and it will still stop them in a heart beat. I can see why you would have to replace the face after 1000 arrows, but that is perfectly fine with me. I recommend this target.

Doubtful about the advertised "life time garuantee", I went ahead and bought one. After it would no longer stop arrows (see photo), I contacted Bull Dog, not once, but twice, crickets. Save yourself $30 and buys Morrel.

Now that I have completely destroyed one side of the target I am ready to give a review.....This target is not perfect, but it is fantastic and you should consider it when choosing a target for thin diameter target arrows.Pros: - Fantastic target for backyard target shooting or target compound - Very durable, I have thousands of shots into this thing - If you go to the manufacturers website (bulldogtargets) you can order replacement faces for about 15$ USD - Compared to many other targets this one is a much larger size, it is quite a nice step up from the foam ones. - The weight of it makes it so it does not budge, mind you the target is actually heavy... - Despite its size it is easy to store - I have shot 25#, 28#, and 40# bows at this target with no trouble.Cons: - Not a good target for thicker diameter arrows, it will wear out the target faster. - If you are looking for a broadhead target this is not your thing, you will rip it to shreds. - If you have inserts they can be tough to pull out. Arrows that are smooth from the point into the shaft are recommended. (Goldtip inserts gave me trouble with the point, no problem with easton inspires and victory 1's) - Takes some time to wear in, the arrows to start out might be tough to pull out at first, but they will become easier over time. People tend to complain about this part with them, but if proper force they will come out :pI recommend this target over its competitors for target archery. The target is expensive, but between the replaceable fronts, size weight, and durability it is a target archers bet friend.Edit: 1/2/2017, Still have the target to this day, The thing was pretty beatup from gold tips and field arrows, so i tried getting a new cover through the website. The replacement face cost money to send to you, but I got it not to long ago and replaced the face following there youtube videos. The face itself you need a strong staple gun to put it on the target, but it seems to work. Replacing the cover also gets rid of the handle, but essentially at this point, I have had 3 targets out of this for the price of $130,, so $43. I can shoot a 28# olympic bow at this thing, and a 40# hunting compound, but I think you may have trouble with something higher fps starting to go through the target. Saying that I found that if you get on the target you can actually push the foam back into place, but this is helpful to an extend. If you are using an olympic bow, or a lower weight compound, I still stand by what I said.
