Fantastic. Came with a few cute freebies too. I like the sturdy pocket in the back. It has the capacity to expand quite a bit if you add a lot of pages to it. The paper quality is great and had very minimal bleeding.

I had an A&O notebook last year and that was honestly the most luxurious notebook I've ever had. It was very nice, but I just can't spend almost $40 on a notebook again. I don't really do a lot of journaling or collections in my bujo so I only used about 2/3 of the 160 pages in that notebook. As much as I loved it, I didn't use it to its fullest (and it made my bag extra heavy). My only real requirements for a notebook are good paper (minimal bleedthrough), lays flat, and unobtrusive cover design.I looked around and heard about this Seques notebook. It doesn't feel quite as nice as the A&O - the paper feels just a smidge thinner and isn't quite as bright, the spine puckers when it's open.Despite all that, the difference between the two brands is like saying one is 98% perfect and the other is 94.5% perfect (and $12 less). The Seques notebook is 5/5 stars because the value is amazing and the details of the product far exceed the price point. You get all the bells and whistles: minimal bleedthrough 160 gsm paper, lays flat, 2 books marks, the back pocket, a pen loop, freebies, numbered pages, a nice box to keep flake stickers in, a wide color range to choose from...Ditto to another review on here that says they'd like a smooth cover option. I've had a cloth covered notebook before and it's fine if you're careful with them but showing their wear is unavoidable after a while.Anyway, I'm looking forward to using this notebook this year!

These are my favorite bullet journals. The paper is good quality and neither water color paint or markers will bleed through. The dots line up from page to page and the are just the right color; not too bold, not too faint. The book opens flat. The box is very nice quality. The journal comes with cute paperclips and a nice, metal ruler/bookmark/stencil. I'm not crazy about the stickers, but they are nice. The grid spacing guide is ok, but I prefer the calendar that used to be included. My only complaint - and it is not enough to knock off a star - is I wish they offered a smooth cover option. The fabric covers stain really easily and can't be wiped clean.SeQeS makes a great dot journal. I've tried several others, some way more expensive, and did not like them as much as these. They are the best value.

I was looking for a new Journal and wanting something a little different to my usual 1917, with thicker pages - the reviews for SEQES (HiQeng) journals said it was excellent for fountain pen ink not feathering, unlike a lot of them, and the cover colour looked lovely so I took a stab at ordering one - the pages are indeed excellent, the writing smooth and clear - not too happy with the cover though, although the finish is very nice, there's an annoying mark right on the front and several places where what looks like glue has been dripped and dried in little lumps. I would expect better for the price.

The paper is nice and buttery smooth, and the dots are printed clearly, cleanly and squarely. The journal lays flat due to the sewn signature binding*. I love the colour and feel of the cover and the designs are cute without being overwhelming. The book is a little thicker than the Leuchtturm1917, or a Moleskine (both of which I have used in the past,) which is to be expected with the thicker paper. The two bookmarks are different colours, the expandable pocket opens easily as the material for the expanding is not paper, but what appears to be very stiff nylon ribbon (it's shiny too, I like that, not sure why.) This journal also comes with a pen loop sewn to the back cover, and adhesive tabs - 6 large and 12 small.(*There is one small issue with this.)For what it is on it's own - this is a fantastic journal for under $20 and well worth the purchase. If you're looking for a journal for the first time, this one is an excellent buy and I encourage you to give it a shot. When compared to previous journals I have used - this journal is more than worth the money as it has exactly what I want, without any of the things I do not use, right now. I started with Moleskines and moved to Leuchtturm1917s primarily for the paper thickness, to combat ghosting. The latter is not much better than the former and they are about the same price. I went in search of something with thicker paper and was having a hard time swallowing the cost of an Archer and Olive or a Scribbles That Matter just to see if it accomplishes what I want without sacrificing the parts that are important to me (dot grid that is clear and straight, the pocket, the bookmarks, and the hardcover.) There is an added bonus of a pen loop already sewn in so I don't have to add one myself and no forcing the index for my journal to the front of the book. The ONLY thing that prevents this from being a four star review is the glue in the binding to secure the signatures. the last page and first page of each signature of this journal are stuck together, as are occasionally the center page of each signature. How much is inconsistent through the book, but at least 3 of the ten have glue from the center to past the first row of dots in the grid. Because the paper is so thick they can be separated without much worry of tearing pages to the point where they aren't really usable, but it also means that the dots and top layer of the paper from one page go with the glue to the other page. It's not a huge thing, but it is somewhat obnoxious. That and the fact that I will have to go through and separate all the stuck together pages so the book lays flat at those pages and the pages after.

Loving this journal. The pages are a nice white and super thick (160gsm). No bleed through and it’s solid construction.I just hope they restock soon. I want to get another one (or two, or ten).
