From the Manufacturer

Simply the ultimate scope lens protection for hunters and shooters. They're custom-fit to your scope, create a watertight, airtight seal, and open with a touch of your thumb, so you can put your shot through the narrow window of opportunity in the most extreme conditions.

Used a 13 and 15 on a Leupold vx2 2-7 33mm. Been to the shooting range probably a dozen times and spent over 5 weeks hunting in the woods flipping then up and down constantly. Eventually wore out the spring and they dont flip up on their own, but still stay open once pushed all the way. Cheap enough i got my moneys worth out of them

Product is good, maybe a little over priced for what it is. Years ago had nice ones from Quacker boy with a see through yellow lens as well as a cap. Can’t find em anymore so these will have to do. Small price to protect you investment.

Fitment was perfect on leupold vx3i 3-9x40 Used size 15 for eyepiece and 26 for objective lens. They look like they will hold up prettty well for a $5 cover.

As long as you buy proper size they work great. The soaking in hot water idea was also great if they are a tight fit. Mine pushed tightly pushed right on. Love them they flip and work great.

Butler Creek has been making these things forever and has it figured out. Fits tight, flips up reliably, no fidgety lever to break, jam, or snag on things. I've used the "eyepiece" version too and just don't see any reason for it, though the little push-to-release lever is neat, it's a liability and for hunting duty in brush and timber, simpler is better.Using on a CVA Wolf .50 cal muzzleloader mounted to the outstanding Bushnell Banner "Dusk to Dawn" 1.75-4x32 riflescope.

Butler Creek makes a good product. These covers fit perfectly on an old Redfield 4x scope. I measured the outside diameter with a caliper. if you don't have a caliper set the eyepiece then the objective lens face down on a good ruler that gives both inches and millimeters. Take the readings and match them to the scope cover size chart on the Butler Creek web sight. If your measurement is in between sizes, then get the size slightly smaller than your measurement this will give a nice tight secure fit. They both work well easy to open and close. I don't know how well they'll work in very cold, or snowy weather. I just know they work well in the Desert climate that I live in. A good scope cover for the price. I'm more than happy for now.

Got the cap and tried it on right away on a BSA 2-7X32 Edge Series Pistol Scope and it fits perfectly on both ends of the scope. Flips with no issues and flips up fast. I have no negatives to comment on right now and durability will be tested by time and long term usage. (Former US Army)
