Doesn't work well on a cars valve since the pump head has a rotating lever which gets directly in the way of a rim, spoke, or tire.Do yourself a favor and buy a German made SKS replacement head and make this pump functional.

easy to use. Works well. I inflated a wheelbarrow tire-in less than a minute.

I have had this pump for 4 years and it's the only one I've used for all my cycling needs. No issues with it at all and the PSI sensor seems to be perfectly accurate.

Got it quickly and at a great price. Only used it once so far, but it was simple to set up and the base worked really well to stabilize the pump while in use.

Oh, BV Bike Pump, you comedic genius in the world of tire inflation! This durable steel maestro has turned my flat-tire frowns into full-blown laughter, making the act of pumping air a joyous occasion.Firstly, let's talk about the 160 PSI high pressure – it's like my tires are getting the VIP spa treatment. I half-expect them to come out with tiny cucumbers on their treads. The steel construction is no joke either; this pump means business, and it's built to last. No flimsy plastic here – it's the Arnold Schwarzenegger of bike pumps. The Smart Valve Head is the class clown of the pump world. It's like a contortionist, effortlessly switching between Presta and Schrader valves without missing a beat. I can almost hear it saying, "Watch this!" every time I use it. And the reversible feature is pure magic – it's like having a pump that can moonwalk. The 17/24-inch stature is perfect for my needs – not too short, not too tall. It's the Goldilocks of bike pumps, always just right. The ball pump feature adds an unexpected twist – I've inflated everything from basketballs to yoga balls, turning my garage into a makeshift comedy club. But the real kicker? The way it sounds when you're in full pump-action mode – it's like a beatboxing symphony, turning my mundane tire inflation into a rhythmic performance. I've half a mind to invite friends over for a tire-pumping party. In conclusion, the BV Bike Pump is not just a tire inflater; it's a one-man comedy show that turns the chore of bike maintenance into a side-splitting experience. If you're tired of mundane pumps and want a laughter-filled tire inflation extravaganza, this pump is your ticket to a high-pressure comedy show! 🚴‍♂️🤣

This pump is a winner! This BV silver pump replaces a very expensive Specialized pump that lasted for 12 years. The old pump still works fine, but the cast aluminum base finally cracked and broke off on both sides and is unrepairable.I read the many reviews on this BV pump and was a bit skeptical about it being of equivalent quality. To my pleasant surprise, it is actually a much better product. The design, build quality and fit & finish of the BV pump are top notch. The pump applies full pressure at the very beginning of the down-stroke. The operation is quite smooth with no undue squeaks, rattles or leaks. The pump base is plastic (probably nylon), but very rugged and well designed with lots of reinforcement. I expect it will last for years. The pressure guage is accurate at 45 lbs. and at 105 lbs. It inflates my mountain bike and road bike tires quickly and easily. I am very pleased that the dual Schrader/Presta valve head works flawlessly and it seals completely.I did notice that after 100 psi, the pumping action requires a fair bit more rigor. If inflating to the maximum 160 psi, you'll probably get quite a workout.I am very pleased with both the quality and performance of this very reasonably priced BV pump. With over 28,000 customer feedback postings (92% positive), obviously this pump is well recieved by the vast majority of buyers. This BV pump puts a smile on my face every time I use it. Highly recommended.

I got this pump based on many favorable reviews I read on here beforehand, and also because I needed a good pump for my bike tires. I've had countless fails with pumps, the last being the Black & Decker Air Station which was a disaster and lasted a few times before breaking, perhaps because of a blown fuse; I'll steer clear of the Black & Decker, and hope that this BV Pump withstands the test of time. I have another foot pump that sort of works, but it takes stupendous muscular action to get it to pump up my bike tires - and it doesn't have a p.s.i. meter like this pump either...This nice little yellow pump - I got the yellow because it's cheery and was a bit cheaper on Amazon than the silver at the time of purchase - worked splendidly at pumping my bike tires up to 55 p.s.i. with such little arm effort. The only effort comes from getting the nozzle to come off of your valve stem once you're done pumping your tire up. I've only used the Schrader side of the nozzle (no Presta side) which is a very snug fit, so be gentle and wiggle it off of there so it doesn't damage your hand when you're lifting up on it to take it off after first releasing the switch to the center position. It seems that when you move the switch back to the center, very little air escapes the tire, and you have a bit of time to then wiggle the snugly-fitting nozzle off of the valve stem. Before you pump, I recommend a rather firm right hand grip on the nozzle before you clamp it down onto your valve stem; you can use your left index finger and thumb to turn the switch/lever so the little arrow on the lever points not straight ahead, but to the tiny "S" marked on the nozzle - that locking of the switch to the tiny "S" (Schrader position) will lock the nozzle onto your valve stem so no air escapes during the pumping. The pumping is actually quite fun and quite easy and the psi meter is an outstanding helpful feature of this pump; I think mine reads just a bit low to the actual (i.e. when the meter reads 50 psi, there's actually more like 55 psi in my bike tire, but maybe that's just my meter...anyhow, it's fairly close to being accurate).I am so relieved I bought this pump, and that it works well! The price is fair, and I'll write an update review should there be anything "new" that comes up with my lovely yellow pump.
