These jacks do what they're made to do, and will push and hold a good amount of weight. The caulk gun style operation make them easy to use.But there are several issues I've found. The feet/pads are INCREDIBLY hard to get onto the ball joints. This issue is compounded by the fact that the jacks will not fit into the included storage bag while said pads are installed, requiring their removal. Also, the pads really have no grip to speak of, so on certain smooth surfaces that can very readily slide around. This had the advantage of showing me that the pads pop of quite easily when thrown to the ground, making them fit just fine in the included storage bag. They ARE very helpful, especially when you don't have another set of hands on a job. Just make sure you get them placed perfectly. Or use some non-skid pads with them.

These worked very well for installing our upper cabinets. The bases move so you still have to hold it a little bit definitely better than trying to hold the cabinet while attaching.

It is nice that these come in a pair. Given what they are they should be okay for providing temporary support for microwaves and cabinets but they might also come in handy for other items such as shelves, trim boards, and maybe some other woodworking projects. They have a 60lb/jack limit and while I have not tested that I would be nervous about using them to support that much weight based on their design and construction and just working them by hand without any weight on them. But I would say that 120lbs for two jacks should be enough to support the average cabinet.Something I do not like about them is that the relatively small pads are not non-slip as stated in the product description. They are plastic with a textured bottom that is not non-slip. Furthermore, I would never use these at an angle as is shown in the product description without having a stop block attached to the surfaces to prevent sliding at the bases. You probably would not have these in your toolbox if you were a professional but for the average homeowner who is handy like me with an upcoming project they should help to save time and effort. I will definitely use them, but smartly and carefully.Oh, I will say that I like the carrying bag. Great it is when you can keep your individual tool components organized together.

I have needed something like this for a while, I have been doing a lot of home DIY projects and tend to have a lack of available hands to help me with things. These make it much easier to hold something in place like cabinets while I attach them to the wall. I got the 19.7” to 45.3” version which was a good fit for kitchen cabinets. Not too high but not too short either. They do come with a case to store them. The plastic feet were a little hard to get on there is not really anything other than the ball to hold them in place. I like the grip to adjust the height it makes it easy to do with one hand. Depending on the surface you may want to put a rubber mat or something down first to help with sliding or damage to the item. I would normally cover a glass top stove anyway but a rubber pad that can grip would be good.So far, I really like these, it really makes a 2-person job easier for 1 person. Look forward to seeing what all I can use these for.

I've swapped out a handful of microwave ovens, and they all have their small installation quirks that required extra time and attention. It's so much easier having a second person, or, better yet, a set of these jacks. They helped me dismount and install an oven today, and even with the usual quirks, it went so much more easily.I would only suggest that the hard plastic pads be covered with something soft to protect the surfaces of your appliances. I used cloth tape which was perfect.

These are really good to hang cabinets when you're working alone, they have a base and top that adapt to the floor and doesn't let the cabinet to slip, the poles are extensible to reach the desired height, then fine adjustments can be made with a clutch lever in order to bring the cabinets to proper level. Very useful tool if you need to hang cabinets and don't have a couple buddies to help.

These are heavy metal poles with hard plastic collars and ball ends and plastic feet. The pics show them capable of handling loads on a 45 degree angle but the hard plastic slides too easily for that to actually happen, especially as they appear to be holding up roof timbers in the photos. The ball ends require a lot of force to engage in the flat feet and have to be taken off to fit in the storage bag which is very lightweight and easily torn. If these were made with metal ends and rubber coated feet that could be locked in position they would be much better. Plus the adjusting collar on the tubes needs to be made of metal for these to be long lasting tools. While they will aid in holding the cabinet up there still needs to be a person maintaining the position while you screw the cab to the wall. And with these articulating feet that becomes a risky bet with a screw gun in one hand and the other trying to hold the cab in position and keep it from sliding. The pro grade versions of these lifts are worth the extra money for these reasons and why I won't attempt to mount upper cabs without a second person to help keep these cheap lifts from tilting sideways or backwards. Use at your own risk.
