The person who last replaced my septic pump decided to do a rig job and tied a loop in the float switch cord. That loop slipped and my pump kept running. Thankfully I was alerted by an energy app that I use, so I was able to turn off the breaker before the pump burned out. This clamp was just what I needed to properly secure the float switch. The plastic part is split, so no need to unwire the switch. The hose clamp is nice stainless, and had a lot of length after securing to my 2" PVC. It appears to be high quality and should not slip.
