Used this to cover openings on our camper. Apparently bees are attracted to the propane.Purchased these to cover the openings and they fit perfectly. Heavy duty material.

These screens came with an install tool that made it easy to install on our RV. We have used screens like these on our other RV and never had an issue with bugs getting in.

After years on the side of my trailer, they are still there. No rust, no rattle. Keeps out critters and bugs. I have them on the water tank exhaust and also the fridge vents. This product and one’s like it just work. Well made, good stainless steel with good hardware.

The screens installed easily. The connection seemed rather flimsy,, however, and I was afraid they may fall off during travel. After three trips to date, though, they have remained securely in place. I wish the screen mesh was tighter as small flying bugs (black flies) can get through the screen. Larger insects (wasps) cannot get through.

I wanted something to keep the critters out. I had seen these screens before and decided to install them. Easy to install (on 1984 Class C Motor-home). Handy that the installation tool is included in the package. Instructions talk about orienting the springs a specific way, but the springs have identical ends.I like that they are constructed out of stainless-steel.Can't speak about product's longevity as they've only been installed for a few weeks and survived one road-trip.

These insect screens are well designed, made with high quality material, and manufactured to relatively close tolerances. I found attaching the screens to be easy, although a bit fussy. (No big deal) The screens have stayed on for literally thousands of miles of travel. In fact, not only have they stayed on, they look like they haven't even moved a fraction of an inch! The meshing is tight enough to keep most insects out, especially those which fly. I anticipate no concerns or issues with insects nesting in our furnace.Highly recommended!

I ordered these to keep mice and insects out of our RV furnace vent. We just stored it for the winter so I can't say if they will stay on while the unit is being towed but they went on easily and seem sturdy so will work just fine while our RV is stored for the winter.

The covers only took a few minutes to install. Getting the springs hooked over the existing grill can be a little tricky, but after bending the spring's hook so the tool didn't slip over to the out edge, they clipped right in. Inserting the tool through the center of the spring also helps. Although the spring secures the covers fine, I'm going to use a little bit of "high temp silicon" to seal the edges of the screen to my intake/exhaust plate. as my plate is not completely flat.Given all of the trouble and expense that nesting bugs can cause, these covers should come standard with the equipment!Important: Individual covers for intake and exhaust (this product) are much better than one larger screen that covers both together, as there is less chance of recycling the exhaust back into the intake.

Excellent fit in the end but very difficult to install with the tool provided. The tool sent was defective, too hard to use to connect the spring. I ended up just placing the screen over the exhaust and closing the door and it works well. I think the connection spring attachment and tool need a re-design and better quality control but I highly recommend these screens for hole protection. They just need patience and creativity. Modify the tool as needed before application.Update 6-21-13:I used one of these on my Tankless Water Heater exhaust Vent as it had a large space around it and there was plenty of room for nesting in the exhaust and in the compartment. Since I need to access the heater switch to turn it on and off, the screen cover would come off the exhaust port. The exhaust pipe itself has a larger-holed screen within. I ended up screwing the supplied spring to the approximate center of the screen cover to shorten the spring and improved retention then hooking the spring to the built in internal screen (with a just-found previously provided screen-spring tool). The screen stays on now when I open the decorative unit side cover. The manufacturer legally has to tell you not to cover vents (to keep out wasps), but, as long as you periodically check and clean the screen it in no way restricts air flow. The decorative side cover keeps the screen centered in the exhaust hole, to screen it off from invaders and the spring retains the exhaust screen cover when the side panel is opened. There is also louvered intake venting. I ordered a large flat SS screen and cut it to size over the internal louvers with metal snips. There is plenty of air space but no place for wasps or mud daubbers. This solved my problem with the Tankless Water Heater unit. I bought the preformed screen for my RV air heater and it fit perfectly. If you are concerned about restricting air flow, just inspect it when you go through your set-up list and use a can of compressed air (Costco) to spray it clear of dust as you like. If you do not have a wasp problem don't use them. Hope this helps someone.
