This is the fourth set of snares that I tried on my 13" Omar Hakim Signature Snare. The previous ones all sounded okay, but I just wasn't finding that satisfying crack that I was seeking from this particular drum.I was about to give up until I tried these. Wow. I don't know what alchemy is behind the sound and responsiveness of this set of wires, but this drum has never sounded so perfect to my ears.I can't definitely recommend these snares to everyone since sound quality is a subjective thing and every drum and head combination will respond to these snares differently. But I can say for sure that I personally adore this set and I am thrilled with the purchase.

These wires make a crappy snare sound great and a great snare sound amazing. Don’t know how. Don’t know why. Don’t care. They just do.

This sound wonderful. I used them on a pretty bad Gretsch Catalina club snare and they helped quite a bit. On a good snare, they would sound fantastic. Great product.
