My truck only has floor vents so it gets very hot in the back seat for my son. This has been a great way to get him more air!

We got thus for our truck for when our kids are riding in the back to help keep the cold air flowing back there and these fans definitely blow a lot harder than I thought they would! It was really easy to set up and get going we were able to set it up before headed out to the store and our 3 year old who is still in a car seat definitely enjoyed having this fan on him and said it was a lot colder back there!

multiple speed setting and digital numbers! For us it ended up plugged in the dash (our son has autism so we need to have controls and couldn't plug it in the back) which put the control upside down/backwards to us which just took a little bit to get used to, not impossible. Also, fortunately for us, the controller is near where the plug is so not a bunch of extra wire to deal with by the driver's leg or shift lever. I believe that if this were plugged in the backseat you would want the controller to be closer to the fans or the middle of the cord so you wouldn't have to lean forward to reach it. I'm not sure there is a reasonable solution for those two things without going wireless controller, which probably would increase cost. The major downer was the broken mounting screw/tightener. It appears to be molded plastic so if you overtighten the pressure will twist it apart. I would not have noticed if one was not broken and I was trying to figure out why since it was packaged fairly well. It obviously was a QC/packaging issue.

As you can see from the photo, we have a metal barrier behind our front seats that is attached to the headrests, so I simply attached the bracket to the barrier using the same procedure! It is very secure wherever you attached it because you can hand tighten the bracket until it is snug.We have a 12V plug behind our console, so we were able to plug it in there and when we need to turn it on, we can just reach behind the console and grab the LED LCD display to start the fan up. It will go up to "12" speed. (The plug I am using requires the car to be on or on accessory, so it loses its settings when you turn off the car. It is still is powered on when you start it back up, but the speed is at 0.0)At 12 speed, I feel it is a good air flow and it is nice to have the independent adjustment of the fans.
