  • Proprietary engineering processes ensure that all CV Drive Axles meet OE form, fit and function
  • Neoprene boots are designed with additional bellows, when needed, to resist bellow stress and cracking, which is the leading cause of boot failure
  • An axle retaining nut is supplied with every unit for a hassle-free installation, due to the likelihood that the original retaining nut is worn or stripped
  • CV Drive Axle measurements are validated after assembly to ensure a proper fit; Threads are precision rolled to ensure proper fit when axle nut is installed
  • Boot clamps are pneumatically crimped, creating a perfect seal between the boot and housing

CARDONE's extensive experience in testing and engineering CV Drive Axles is the foundation behind our proprietary method of engineering a product that meets and even exceed O.E. performance. We have researched the reasons why original CVs typically fail and designed new solutions to avoid repeat failure. For example, our Neoprene boots are designed with additional bellows, when needed, to resist bellow stress and ozone cracking - the leading cause of boot failure. High-quality grease withstands high-temperature and high-torque demands to ensure long-lasting, reliable performance. Splines are precision rolled to ensure proper fit of CV Drive Axle into the mating hub and transmission, which eliminates installation hassles. Transmission seal diameter is precision-machined after heat treatment to ensure correct surface finish, promoting long seal life. Additionally, all CV Drive Axle shafts are individually verified for straightness, resulting in vibration-free performance at all speeds.

Couldn’t be more impressed, great quality, good price, come ready to install. Will buy this brand again when I have to replace the other CVs.

Easy to install with some mechanical knowledge...or YouTube it. Good materials, well put together. Suggest buying a new seal for the driver's side...attached is the Duralast part # for a 2007 Honda Odyssey.

Good axles. Was able to fit perfectly and hasn't ripped yet. Time will tell how long these will last.

My old Honda CV boots were cracked open, and the vehicle drove smoothly, at the time. I installed two front CV shafts of the Cardone brand. Hello, drive line vibration. I have a feeling that Honda brands axles wouldn't cause this new, annoying vibration under acceleration. Argh. I've been through this same issue with another cheaper brand, as well. If you buy cheap, be prepared to redo the job repeatedly.

Do not buy these! For whatever reason, length, balance, etc this caused a terrible wheel shimmy when accelerating. Of course you wouldn’t expect this from a new axle so I replaced everything else just to have a tech tell me this CV is too short. Spent the extra $30 and got a quality one from Napa and magically my problems were solved. Remember… you can’t get a refund on your labor costs!

I bought this part and installed it on my 2008 Honda Odyssey in April 2019 and it is now December 2019. Been driving every day and a couple of long trips one to Quebec Canada and back to NJ. So far 8 months no issues and still rides smooth. The cv axle for $54 dollars pretty good deal in my opinion..... update it's now 2021 and still no issues .

Bought this for our 2010 Honda Odyssey EX-L with approximately 158,000 miles. It developed a slight vibration in the front end at speeds above 40mph. After replacing the Front brake rotors and pads as well as having the wheels and tires road force balanced, the shimmy was still there. Bought and installed the CV axles after researching the issue on the Odyssey forums. Install was pretty easy and even though the original parts looked ok on the outside (boots were intact), these cured the shaking completely. These are much cheaper than the Honda OEM, which I was going to buy initially. In my case, this axle worked well.Update: As of Now, on 5-29-18, I am dealing with another vibration, once again caused by the cv axles. Same symptoms as before, so I changed Ball joints, lower control arms, sway bar endlinks, sway bar bushing and tie rod ends. Nothing changed after that, so I replaced the cv axles this morning with Honda OEM units. Completely vibration free now. The Cardones were good for a few months, but now I have to figure out if I can return them under warranty. Hopefully your experience goes better than mine. Best of luck!
