It fits perfectly on my 2016 cx 5. Some reviews said it was cheaply made and didn’t last. So far it’s been worth the price. My car is in the elements 24/7 as I don’t have a garage or car port. I live in the California desert. We will see how long it lasts.

Comes packaged well. Install is slightly convoluted, but that is because of the way Mazda designed the holes for the cover to stand on, and not because of the cover itself. Works flawlessly after installation. Bets the dealership $300 pricing anytime!!!

Worked great for my Mazda CX-5 2022 model! Untilllll 5 months after purchasing, the bar connecting one side of the shade to the trunk completely snapped off. The other side snapped off shortly after. Pretty disappointed as this thing was not cheap to buy, and the return window expires 1 month after purchase.Would definitely consider buying the official version from Mazda next time.

Purchased this for my daughter and we were both slightly concerned that she would have to roll and unroll it constantly, but it hooks onto the door so when you open the hatch it lifts up. SUPER happy that I purchased the one with the mesh bags, I thought they might be flimsy and lose their shape fast, but it's a really sturdy and very strong elastic that holds it's shape. When the hatch is closed it doesn't look like there's an obvious shade and she's trying to hide items, it's black and at a glance looks empty, which is great for living in the city. I also no longer have to worry about her carrying items in her truck and them flying up. Wish I had made this purchase two years ago when we bought her car!! Great quality!!
