I think it’s crazy that now that I’ve purchased a basket for the staircase, I’ve barely needed it. Of course that would be my life and how things work 😂. I love the esthetics. It matches the other baskets I have in the house. I love the color too. The front basket is deep enough I put significant items in there and still had space for more. Look. It also fits my size 9 walking shoes and still has more space to hold stuff. The only carrying handles are the cutout ones on the front and back of the basket. Sometimes I think a regular basket handle would be better but esthetically and for other reasons that I might break it off by some dumb stroke of “luck”, I say no. A long handle would be a waste because it’s not like you can stand this product up without it falling over (as it is made in the shape of a step) anyway. It’s enough to bring what you need upstairs and put it back in the steps once you IMMEDIATELY empty it.I personally love the product for its esthetics and is made of decent quality however it is a bit steep for the price so I can’t say from one person to the next if it is worth it. It has one use and one use only. The moment we move into a one story home, it won’t be of use for me anymore.

My husband and I have an upstairs apartment we rent out to college students. This stair box let's us store their mail, etc. and still keep the stairs looking neat. The box is very sturdy and has 2 strong handles.
