I have had issues with clogged condensation lines on my HVAC in the past. It can be a real headache. On the other hand, I don't want to climb into the attic every month to pour bleach down the condensation line. So, I started using this product three years ago. While I haven't had any issue with the condensation line, it's hard to say whether they actually work as an untreated condensation line may go for years without any problems. I'll keep using it hoping that it works. The concept makes sense, but there no way for me to know whether there is enough algaecide being released to make a difference.
