Sometimes my cats try to avoid stepping on the mat when coming out of box so I had to put some guiding rails to make them walk over it. My cats puked on it & it is waterproof but must be washed out with bathroom shower spray head & dried to remove any ‘gunk.’

I did a lot of research and this was the most highly suggested litter mat, but it's not as big as it seems like it should be. I think it is up to the measurements, although I haven't measured them, but it just doesn't seem like it's as big as it claims. It won't do a lot of good if it doesn't even fit where I want it to. I also don't think he cats would like stepping on it very much considering even just having it on the floor they would make a wide distance around it instead of walking over it.

When I got it, it was folded and lightweight. It felt cheap. Instructions ask you to just lay it flat and wait a few days for creases to go away (instead of returning it for being creased and cheap). So I did, and it works AMAZINGLY now. Being lightweight is a blessing - picking it up and dumping the litter back in the box is so easy. The creases went away. It's strong enough that people have to step on it to reach the toilet, and it's held up. And most importantly, I don't get tracked litter into the dining room anymore!

No litter tracking around after the cat goes potty! These are do great the litter goes right into the mat, not on the floor!

I was very hesitant to buy these because of the price and I didn't think it'd really make a big difference. I bought 2, 1 grey, 1 black. I have 2 cats and two litter boxes. After years of sweeping or vacuuming up litter from around the litter boxes every single day several times a day I am absolutely astonished! These mats are a miracle! Absolutely NO MORE litter mess all over the house!!!! These mats have some weight to them, they're not cheap or flimsy at all, yet not too heavy, I have major back issues and I can handle them. They are very sturdy, thick, and very easy to clean. You can either vacuum up, dump out or hose off the litter that accumulates every couple of days. Actually I don't need to do it for about a week when the regular house cleaning, vacuuming, sweeping, etc, is being done. Also we've had them for several months and they still look brand new even with the cats using them "scratching mats"😂! Shipping was fast, 2 days with prime. I wish I would've gotten these a long time ago but sure glad I have them now! I would've saved a lot of time and hassle! And actually I'm thinking of buying them for the front and back doors of my home to catch the dirt from people's shoes!

I've always had cats but never a 21 pounder who gets litter literally everywhere. I've gone through many types of litter and they all track no matter what they say. I've also changed the set up for the box buying way too many things trying to curtail the problem with no avail. I don't know if litter has changed since I had my last cat 10 years ago or if this is an issue with this particular monster cat. I bought this rug to see if it would help and yay it does indeed trap the litter. It cut the tracking by at least 80% if not moreIt's a good price and is very easy to vacuum. My only issue is the poor color options they are so ugly and not decorator friendly. I wish it came in a color that blended better with my wood floors. It seems durable and so far the cat has not chewed or damaged it. The only thing he did was move it and crawl inside it because he thought it was was a bag. So far so good. Offer other colors and I'll buy another!
