Easy to use and it has a strong adhesive. You have to make sure the area that you are applying is thoroughly clean and dry before setting the caulk tape down. It worked great around the base of my toilet and sealing up a small exposed area around the inside of my shower. It is waterproof and it is the ideal with for sealing small gaps. It doesn't look well if it is not put on top of another white item but it is easy to wipe down.

It is a game-changer for anyone looking to seal around bathtubs or toilets with minimal effort. It’s easy to apply, sticks well, and provides a clean, waterproof seal that beats traditional caulk. It looks neat and durable!

I'm fairly Impressed by this caulk tape. Basically this stuff is a semi rigid strip of plastic flashing with a crease that runs down the center, that can be used to create up to a 90 degree corner. The tape is adhesive backed, and so far there has been no lifting or pulling away from the painted wall I stuck it to.The most important thing to consider before applying this is cleanliness and dryness. Pre cleaning where the adhesive comes into contact is everything. Technically, the adhesive is the caulk. If the adhesive fails, you lose that water barrier.I used this in my bathroom with no issues. According to the description you can use this in the kitchen as a gap filler where the stove meets the counter. I haven't tried this, but I think it could work.

This stuff started out looking really awesome - it made such a clean sharp line and it really looked awesome in bathroom. The adhesive, however, didn't stay stuck. I was very careful to thoroughly clean and dry the area where I applied the caulk strips, and although they stuck at first, over time they have entirely lifted up. It's been about six weeks, and I am planning on trying to reapply them with some cualking behind them. I really like the look, but the strips just don't function as they should, as soon as they come in contact with moisture, they lift. Because this is the actual purpose of caulking in my bathroom, to keep water and moisture out of my floors and walls, I really can't recommend this product to others, even though I really liked how pretty it looked!

UPDATE 1/24/25 - some of the caulk tape has pulled up its edges after some time in contact with water. Was this improper prep on my part, or a flaw with the tape? I'm tentatively deducting one star. Stay tuned,________________________________________________OK, I am NEVER satisfied with the job I do with silicone caulk in a bathroom... and every "tough up" makes the job look worse. Yet silicone is the standard.I was delighted to see this product, but skeptical that something that was just basically thick stick tape would do the hjob of caulk. So I did a 5" test strip on a difficult and leaking part of the jacuzzi tub, and put it to use for over a month. It held! If anything, it seems sturdier than when I put it on. So I've attacked the rest of the leaking tile joints and trim. (Pix attached to this review when I upload my phone camera).I'm amazed and delighted that this works as advertised. it is STICKY stuff... as in, I had to discard the first couple inches because it stuck too well to its backing material. It also is seemingly flawlessly waterproof, at least so far. It's not the best at turning corners but the 95% of area that is straight runs works well, and the discolored old seams - even if not leaking - suddenly look pristine again.I'm sure I'll be a repeat buyer for this stuff, for other places in the house... and if it lasts a couple years, to re-do the main tub. Easy to use and seems to do the job.If you hate doing silicone tub caulking, you owe it to yourself to try this stuff.

I was so disappointed when I started to peel back the paper to put this caulk tape on the back of my kitchen sink which tends to get stained but when I started to peel off the paper I saw that the glue was peeling off with the paper! So, there is no glue left on the part of the tape that should be placed on the sink area. I was bummed. Perhaps this is a one off but if the caulk tape can't adhere to the surface, what's the purpose?
